I dunno, part of me thinks that he would never go back to the ABA version but at the same time, they could say it as him leaving his gear in the ring last year was him basically ending the character and have this year have him be more human. I wouldnt mind him riding a motorcycle down the ramp this year at Mania because it would save a whole hell of alot of time lol

As much as I liked the ABA gimmick, I'm still hoping to see the original Undertaker - Grey gloves/boot covers, the shirt with torn sleeves and a tie. That's the Taker that made me a fan and like Paul Bearer, said in his ROH shoot with Jim Cornette, the last thing we see should be the first thing we saw back in the early 90s.
Plus at this stage, Taker would look a lot better in a shirt than that wifebeater he's been rocking haha.

ABA Taker doesn't sound like a crazy idea.

I ing hope so.. just be yourself, drop the panto. Would be cool to see Kane get involved in the lead up to Mania too. Just throw everything at it.

Dunno how they'd do it though.

I really hope not. ABA Taker wasn't nearly as good as some people like to remember him as. He needs to end his career as the Deadman. I’d really like to see him end his career with his old school attire. The grey gloves and boot covers. Ripped shirt sleeves.

I think he was back wearing the same gear at the press conference for Mania 35 yesterday.

also not how he goes out lol He already went out last year when he left all the deadman gear in the ring. It's only logical especially bringing his actual name into the feud like they did along with references to Michelle and things like Instagram. It wouldn't make any sense if he didn't show up as a real person for this "shoot" style feud which he was when he was ABA.

In the Attitude Era he acted human while playing the dead man and was even called Mark on screen once. He appeared as the dead man on Raw 25 and we've already seen Cena vs Biker Taker so it would spoil the magic of the match Cena didn't face the Phenom who he has alluded for over a decade. It would be a horrible way for Taker to go and Vince hated the gimmick so I doubt he would let it happen.

It is hard for me to say, but I am always glad to see the Undertaker no matter what incarnation.
I do think that Kid Rock singing Rollin' live while Taker speeds out on a bike would be wild, though.
