Pussified America strikes again... Yes how dare WWE not celebrate a known sex trafficker and extortionist? You seem to support Sex trafficking and assault. If only you knew of the atrocious things MANY of our beloved WWE/WWF stars have done behind closed doors... You are absolutely insane. It’s actually become funny at this point.

According to Hogan, Andre used to "check the oil" of the wrestlers that pissed him off. That's sexual assault - #changethename. People are stupid. Slightly off topic, but I’ve heard Bushwhacker Luke was a big fan of inserting his thumb in his opponent’s rear during pinfall covers. Wrestling is a straaaaange business. All of the old schoolers and the old locker rooms were nuts.

Man if these people knew half of what wrestlers of that era were doing, this would never end. Moolah has been found guilty by the court of public opinion, it's sad. Everybody from Vince McMahon himself, to Elvis Presley, and so forth. You could dig up some explosive dirt on so many pop culture figures. The truth is we'll never know if and of it's real though. Word of mouth is the only evidence. I can promise you though, Moolah ain't alone if any of this is true, wrestling back then was littered with some messed up stuff. You want the whole era locked up? So that's that, I imagine Moolah will be blacklisted from WWE at this point. No figure to go with Richter, no footage shown on TV, and women's wrestling will only date back to Madusa in WWE lore. The same thing has happened with Snuka. Thank you PC crowd, thank you corporate sponsors, I love having Hulk Hogan exiled as well. The 1980s have never been more fun. Trust me, McMahon has a ing CEMETARY of skeletons buried in his closet.

Just ignore the fact that Wendi Richter and Sherri Martel among others have confirmed Moolah's crimes.

I’m glad they changed the name. I really hate the way the WWE glorifies Moolah.

This thread is proof that WWE is damned if they do, and damned if they don't. But please keep this without massive fighting. Especially because bad guy™ is looking for an excuse to use his bat.

Any chance I can get that reduced so I can be rude again? 😉 seriously though it's been months since my last infraction.

Genuinely baffled at how many here are defending a sex traficer. If it wasn't determined by a court of law, who are we to just accept the narrative?

Genuinely baffled at how many here are defending a sex traficer. Can you pinpoint where someone has defended Moolah, or any sex trafficking? Most are mentioning how it’s just not a big deal that it was named after Moolah.

So many people take accusations at face value, even when someone is dead and buried. It's absurd. The flaming torches and pitchfork internet is unbearable, just shut up and learn to ignore things you don't like, that aren't relevant at least.
Some day more wrestling legends will get this same treatment, tell all books and gossip lust will make it that way. You'll get the sanitized world you want to live in, too bad it will suck, and we'll keep electing people like Trump to mess with you and your feelings.
Public outrage has gotten so boring.

Hmm. Would Harvey Weinstein ever have gotten seen for who he truly is for what he did if not for the multitude of accusations that came his way? When there are plenty of trustable accusations against someone who did such a terrible thing, the best thing to do would to stay away from honoring that person. WWE screwed up in naming their Battle Royal after her and have changed it. Done deal.

I don’t believe a cent of this bullcrap. Moolah is a legend and this a lynching on her legacy. Snickers, y’all need a Snickers cause you’re not yourself haha. They have no idea who Moolah is and obviously none of you do either. Once again we attack someone who is dead and can’t defend themselves. Kudos kids. Kudos Moolah is the only person who stained her legacy by selling her trainees for sex. Don't defend her. Not for a second.

Gotta be honest, I was totally unaware of this. I’m not exactly going out of my way to look up the history of the Fabulous Moolah. But this seemed to be common knowledge and WWE had to have been aware their might have been backlash. I think they just couldn’t think of anyone else to name a trophy and battle royal after.
WWE looks bad after this. Especially since they still continue to keep Hogan away. These accusations(and they are nothing more than that really) are pretty serious. I’m honestly surprised no ones really picked up on Warriors past either.

They should just called it "The Andrea The Giant Battle Royal" and have it be Andre's twin sister.... which is just Andre in drag. But still, it would probably get over more than naming it after Moolah.

When there are plenty of trustable accusations against someone who did such a terrible thing, the best thing to do would to stay away from honoring that person. WWE screwed up in naming their Battle Royal after her and have changed it. Done deal. Harvey is alive and well and can defend himself, that is relevant stuff. What Moolah did decades ago allergy is not, especially considering how many promoters took advantage of their performers sexually allegedly in that era. If you think Moolah is alone, I have to laugh. Signaling her out alone is absurd. Moolah was a brilliant ring psychologist and the single most dominating figure in women's wrestling. People saying she sucked in the ring but enjoyed Piper's matches have rose tinted glasses. WWE chose Moolah because she stands atop all women's wrestlers in terms of longevity, dominance, and showmanship. Sherri and all of the others came and went and Moolah was still Moolah. You can suppress history, but you can't rewrite it. We have Disney removing the prostitutes from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and now this. Such a shame to see weak minded liberals trying to bury history, all to live in a bubble. At least no ones feelings will be bury tonight, Lord knows that's all people care about these days. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, if you didn't like something... tough. Nobody cares.
