This year will be my first Mania, as well first time attending WrestleCon. I'm trying to plan out an itinerary for WC to make sure I can meet everyone I want to meet. For anyone who has been before, what is a usual wait time for the bigger stars? Guys like Flair, Bret Hart, Edge, Sting, Jake Roberts, Hall, Nash, etc? And then what about the "mid card" type guys like Beefcake, Honky Tonk Man, Koko B Ware, etc? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Honestly, it's hard IMO to gauge. Guys like Nash and Hall had baout maybe 20 people in line when I went. Luger had me in line. marc Mero had me in line. Maria Kanellis had about 15 at one point, but when I went to see her it was one person before me. I go in with a gameplan and then adapt if the lines are long in hopes I can get them at the end. With Hall I ended up waiting maybe 20 minutes tops. Nash about 15. Those are just guesses. I know I was in at 9 and out before 12 as I ahd to get to Axxess at 1pm.

I was at Wrestlecon last year and for the majority of people that i met i didn't have to wait long, I had to wait a long time for the Hardy Boyz since they had the longest line and started signing late.

Honky and Brutus will probably have very little line. Both guys try and charge an arm and a leg and most fans already have their autographs. Their business is mostly impulse buyers or guys who walk by and they talk into their line (Honky moreso than Brutus). Jake, Hall and Nash usually have more line but eventually it fizzles out. Sting and Bret lines usually never cease, especially Bret.

The latter didn't come with the $40 asking price. Jake was asking for $30 per autograph at that same convention.

Sting’s photo line was the only line over 30 mins for me last year. I didn’t do Edge and Christian’s line or photo but that seemed pretty long. Hall wasn’t anymore than 20 mins and he was in a great mood. Really a highlight for me last year.
I think you’ll find guys like Nash and Flair, who do a ton of cons, aren’t as busy as you might expect. Not because of a lack of people wanting to meet them but just rather a lot of people already having had the chance and money goes quickly at Wrestlecon. I’m a massive fan of Nash but I’ve met him 3 times already and spending the extra money on him at Wrestlecon didn’t make sense for me when I had access to other guys who don’t do a ton of signings.
Guys like Vader, Animal, Billy Gunn, RVD and Ken Shamrock were all under 10 minutes. Jake’s line was longer and DDP’s is slow moving because of how much he talks to fans (not a bad thing), but most guys don’t have huge lines at any one given time. It’s more about deciding how to spend your money than spend your time imo.

A lot of machines were empty too after a while. That is where and how you will slow down if you don't plan ahead.

No autograph came with the price, but so should a photo op have. 40 is very pricey for that book eh?

Yeah, he was more than likely adding the cost of an auto into the cost of the book. No way that book should be $40.

From my experience, the longest lines I've seen were for Rey Mysterio, HBK, Sting, Flair, and a few others. But almost everyone else, you can get pretty quickly. And they talk to you for a bit if you have something to say. Hall had a big line in 2016, but moved fast. Nash had a steady line almost all the time, but moved fairly quickly when getting in it. You can feel safe to plan to meet everyone you want to meet. Just be sure to be there when the doors open to start getting everyone as quickly as possible. Sometimes you'll see someone not get as much traffic and leave early, so don't take risks thinking someone will stay their entire scheduled time.
