So hyped. I've only been watching NXT religiously from just before War Games but damn am I glad I did. Only wish I put the effort in years ago.

Besides the Women's match, this card is RIDICULOUSLY strong! I'm super excited, I hope we see the coronation of Aleister Black and Almas moves up to RAW or SD!

I see Baszler and Black both walking out of New Orleans with gold, while Almas and Moon get their call-ups after WrestleMania.
I guess EC3 wins the ladder match and we continue the Black/Cole feud over the strap, or Cole feuds with EC3.
Hoping for another solid match or 2 to be added in the next week or so. That and WrestleMania is looking really good on paper. Should be an amazing weekend for wrestling fans!

I think the smart move is to have Almas retain because Johnny needs to be the one to dethrone him

I hope they changed the ladder match into a "Beer Barrel Race" like they had on the old NXT shows.
Where all six men have to beat the clock in racing around the ring while holding a beer barrel. That is a great way to decide on a new champion!

Unless they’re strapping the rocket to Ricochet immediately there aren’t any faces really left for Almas at the moment. Assuming that there is another Takeover before the summerslam weekend show I would like to see the main event be something like Almas vs. Cole vs. Gargano vs. Ciampa be the main event with scope getting the win. I’d then do Cole vs. McIntyre or Ricochet Sunmerslam weekend. |

Ah, the return of the dreaded "unsanctioned match". One of my favorite stips just for the ridiculousness of management saying "hey, we want nothing to do with this match but we're gonna show it on our big network special anyway".
Regardless, Gargano vs Ciampa is gonna' steal the show... as long as they don't try to squeeze in a hundred false finishes.

I like that Gargano/Ciampa is a bit unpredictable. Sure, you think Johnny wins to get reinstated, but he could easily lose, then get signed by RAW or Smackdown after Mania. So while he likely wins, there's that slight chance, that they do the heel win for Tommaso
