Mattel have to release a WCW line. Seriously.
Back in the day, WCW were killing WWE in the Monday Night Wars and the nWo vs Sting story line was perhaps the hottest thing ever in professional wrestling. With Vince having access to the complete back catalogue of all the WCW shows etc would it not make sense to expose new fans to this library of wrestling folklore? I’m sure it wouldn’t require that much effort for WWE to put together video packages etc for young fans watching the network to tempt them into watching certain WCW shows/storylines and get them hooked.
And, of course, what better way is there to support the exposure of WCW shows to kids than making a new Mattel line of figures dedicated to WCW??!!
I’m sure Mattel could put together 6 WCW stars in figure form that kids would be tempted to buy. There’s not much for them and WWE to lose and so much to gain from a legion of new WCW fans.
Mattel, Vince ... make it happen.

I don’t need a full line seeing there’s so many lines already. But a few WCW wrestlers a year is fine for me. Now if the rumored JJ Dillion BAF is true then that waste of figures should all be WCW wrestlers.

With the best of Attitude Era figures coming out it would soon be the perfect opportunity to release a rival WCW line too. Hopefully if the Attitude figures sell really good it will encourage Mattel and WWE to give us more retro figures.

LOL Vince McMahon's ego is too big to allow Mattel to make a WCW line the closest you going to get to a wcw line is when they Shuffle WCW figures in with the regular WWE ones we did get the Nitro notables and it WCW dusty rodes ring.

If they're finished doing Flashbacks in each wave, I'd like to see one or two of the six spots in each Elite line used for a WCW or ECW figure.

You’ve had your fair share of WCW figures released over multiple lines such as Basic, Elites, DM, TNF, HOF, HOC, RSC etc. Mattel do not need to make a WCW line.

Sweet baby Jesus would I love an all WCW Monday Night Wars series ... man, it would be so beautiful.
They have rights to plenty of guys that they could just simply do repaints of, from that era.
Would WWE allow it ... probably not, but imagine a WCW Chris Jericho, Bill Goldberg, Hollywood Hogan, exc exc
... and yes, Hogan will be back shortly, Idc what Mark Henry isn’t ready for 😎

As a big WCW fan from the early 90’s through the Monday Night Wars, I’m all for this. Unfortunately, I’m not sure Mattel would sell enough for them to justify it in their minds.
