I personally am hoping for Cena v The American Bad Ass, the pop for ABA Undertaker would be insane.
Part of me thinks they will build it to WM35 though as the card is already stacked...
What we all thinking?

Taker can’t work a match, least not to the level he would wish to present to the world.
Promo from Cena leading to Taker coming out for the attack and that’s that, Cena’s mouth shut.

I just don't get why they'd have Cena quite literally crap all over the entire legacy of the Undertaker's career of NOTHING was going to happen.
I know most people are totally expecting a match, but if it does happen it technically has to be considered the most high profile impromptu match ever?

If the match does end up happening (and if it doesn't, this whole "rivalry" was a complete waste of time), I think it would only be fitting for the Undertaker to have one more match as Biker Taker. He had his big send-off with the Deadman gimmick last year. What was the point of the big send-off if that wasn't his last match as Deadman Taker? Returning to WrestleMania as Biker Taker would solve that problem. As it's a different gimmick, it wouldn't negate the big Deadman Taker send-off from last year. And he would have had two last matches for two different gimmicks. Everybody wins.

70,000 people are going to summon Big Evil an hour after they summon Jeff Jarrett.
New York is on fire.

Whatever happens, whenever it happens, whichever characters show up.....Undertaker better win. I'd rather Undertaker not ever wrestle again than to have him come back just to lose AGAIN.
IF he were to lose at WrestleMania again, after going 21-0, he'd be 2-3 in his last 5. Cena doesn't need the win and he's got one foot out the door into Hollywood anyway,.....there's no reason to continue to rack up losses with The Undertaker. It's just pissing the fans off.
Undertaker isn't retiring after WM34 anyway, so even if he's the type of old school guy like Sting who said he wanted to lose his last match, this isn't going to be his last match anyway, so there's no reason for Undertaker to lose to Cena. Recently Cena has lost so many matches to people who rank below Undertaker on the historical significance chart, it's not like losing to Undertaker would hurt Cena.
I won't speak for all fans, but as a die hard Undertaker fan, I need him to win. The Streak getting broke and then him losing to Roman, and then one entire year of not knowing if he was really retired or not...it's just been upsetting. I just need him to win. Again, I won't speak for all fans, but I feel like Undertaker fans have been through enough these last few years that I believe that most people would be really upset by another loss.

I could see it just being more of a regular man Undertaker. Not quite a biker or a dead man. But an amalgamation of the two.

I've heard they might be saving for WM 35 and only set it up this year... I hope this isn't the case because I'm going to WM this year and not next.

I hope they don't wait until WM35 also, just because Undertaker is currently 53 years old...I don't think he's going to be more healthy or a better wrestler a year later at 54 years old. I think this match falls under the category of "either sh*t or get off the pot". Let's do it now or let's just forget about it.

They aren't doing all of this for no reason. I'd say at best we get a match, at worst we get a segment. I think we see ABA Taker confront John Cena and setup a match for next year. I'm not saying I like the idea, or that waiting another year on Taker is going to help the situation, but they obviously are going to do something. I think if the match was going to happen this year it would be a plastered all over marketing materials. So for that, I think it waits until next year because that feels like a thing to have up in Times Square, especially if Brock is gone by next year.

I think the whole concept is stupid in all honesty. Last year showed undertaker winding down and not being able to hang with Roman. Although I want one more match from him, I feel like it's only hurting his legacy. This match should of been promoted to the fullest, a lot of people wanted it to happen. Personally, I'd rather see undertaker vs aj or Seth Rollins or even Finn balor (as much as I don't care for him). You're telling me they're making a match with no buildup? The match is happening on Sunday, but it's most likely gonna be a squash. I really don't see them fighting for more than 10 minutes, anything other than that would be spitting in fan's faces. Now as far as the American badass, I feel like that would look weird in today's wrestling world considering that the undertaker is old and has been playing the deadman gimmick for like the last 8 years. I just can't see undertaker coming out in a motorcycle to limp bizkit in today's world and neither do I want to. He should retire as he came, either that or maybe have him do his deadman gimmick with a custom motorcycle to give fans what they want. On another note, I could see wwe trying to let taker win this year and having cena retire him the next.

He's gonna come out as a grizzled Mark Calloway old school and beat up but still a bad ass like Wolverine from the movie Logan.

i really want this to happen but i dont see how they can. what i dont like is, if Taker vs Cena doesnt happen, Cena made Taker look like a little bitch and why would he hype up The Undertaker for the past 4 weeks to get nothing out of it? i hope it happens

I hope it's nothing. Cena has been extremely annoying, just because he's not getting what HE wants. He can't just sit out one year? He talked about not taking a spot from a full-timer. But him whining and complaining every week on TV for over a month now, that's exactly what he's doing! I personally hope nothing comes of this and Cena is completely left off the show. There's nothing wrong with him missing just 1 WrestleMania after appearing at the last 14 in a row...

At this point, I'm almost wondering if we're just going to get a small showdown between the two for a 'Wrestlemania moment', instead of an actual Match. I can envision Cena being a fan for the first hour of the show, entering the ring, cutting one last Promo, and out comes Undertaker, has a staredown, and delivers a tombstone etc. It just seems unfathomable that they wouldn't want to promote this Match if it was happening. How they finally get to this match is what's intriguing. They can't go on last, people could turn off or go home after Reigns vs Lesnar, and if it's a match Cena isn't sitting ringside for four hours without warming up.
One thing I will say though, is it does lead even more to feel like we're getting the American Badass. Cena alluding to the fact he left his hat in the ring, but his balls at home, and not a single gong, lightning bolt, druid etc. All of the classic signs have been eliminated. I understand a lot of people are looking forward to a possible return of the Biker, but in all honesty, this is the one Match where the Deadman was needed. The image of John Cena face to face with the Deadman at a Wrestlemania.
If we aren't getting a Match, and we're just getting a segment for a Wrestlemania moment, then the fans will be disappointed. They would have been better off having John Cena as the Host for Wrestlemania this year, and having the big showdown between the two that way as a huge surprise, since they aren't booking it or promoting it before the Event itself. At least that way, it would have made for a huge, unexpected and memorable moment. The way they have built to it so far has just led fans to get their hopes up for a Match between the two.
