Surprised I’ve not seen a post about it yet like but here’s a link to Hunter unveiling the belt.

Why the hell can't they make a descent title design? Seriously! Get rid of the freaking round shape!
Rant over. Now I'm drinking my glass of warm milk.

I think it's pretty cool, very retro. Sticks out like a sore thumb among the rest of the NXT designs though.

Man.... where do I begin on this garbage. First off the name North American champion makes no sense. NXT is North American based. NXT is 99% North American shows. Tje concept of a second single title should have been a TV Title that was defended weekly. As far as the title design, it looks like someone ran to WWE2K and created a belt with generic strap, main plate, and detailing. I’m also not a big fan of strap coloring. Red sticks out too much, and really does set this belt aside from the others, which is the responsibility of the main title, not the secondary title.

I like it , its the return of the n-american title, and ted dibidiasi was the first champion in 79... I was hoping more for the return of the canada title belt owned by dinonbravo in 1985.
So only north americans can win it , like the uk title, or its like the europe title anyone can win it ?
So now we have
Raw: universal, inter, women, tag team Sdown: wwe, us, women, sd tag team Nxt : nxt, uk, n-a, women, nxt tag team 205 live : cw
Soon to be: cw tag team
We are still missing from the past:
Hardcore Europe Women tag team Tv title Canada title

Looks great. I love the old school vibe.
Although they should definitely get rid of the mainstream name and go with something we've never seen before.. Possibly name it the TV Title and have it defended every week 🙄 oh wait a minute, WCW and WWF died. Let's keep it there.

Pete Dunne has defended against Adam Cole and Roderick Strong. This new title will be the same as well because Killian Dain is in the ladder match.

I love it. It looks super retro like and it looks like a real prize. It's probably my favorite NXT title design currently.

I like it,the title has an old school retro look to it. People complaining about it being a North American title or the UK title, remember the European title? And who was the first champion? Just because of the name doesn’t mean only people from there can compete for the title

I'm with jayrod2009 - it's not super sexy, but it should have been called the TV title. It's traditional and makes the most sense. You have a roster made up of people from Mexico, Amsterdam, Wales, Ireland, Japan, to name a few and you have a "North American" title?

Love the old school look to it. Personally, though, I will be doing away with the wide strap for a more traditional cut through a releather when the replica is eventually released.
Also, being of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent, seeing both countries featured on the main plate in detail adds some more points to the likability factor for me.

The real reason for the creation of the North American Championship is to have a champion defend the title while the NXT Champion tours different states. I read somewhere that Vince McMahon hates the name of TV Champion and there was a WWF North American Heavyweight Champion from 1979 till 1981. I dig the design of the title, looks old school something that would look great around the waist of who ever wins the title at TakeOver.

The fact that the NXT North American Title isn't in the WWE Hall of Fame is a crying shame!

“I hate all the new belts with the logo slapped on the front plate. So unoriginal. I wish they would make belts like they used to.”
WWE makes an old school style North American title
“I hate the belt. It looks too retro.”
