“I hate all the new belts with the logo slapped on the front plate. So unoriginal. I wish they would make belts like they used to.” WWE makes an old school style North American title “I hate the belt. It looks too retro.” I agree with you. The reasoning both World Championships, Both Women's Championships, and Both Tag Team Championships look the same reason all the UFC Championships look the same. People bitch about everything that's not up to their standards these days. Fans like that gives wrestling fans a bad name. Just stating not hating and just being honest.

Why the hell would they make an NXT Television title when NXT is only shown on the network?

Where’s the old version of the show with just Timmy?!”

Why do they have so many belts? NXT is a one hour show, do they really need four championships? Or is it five? Is the UK title officially an NXT title? I can't keep up anymore.
Between all of their brands WWE has 14 championship, give or take a couple. That's completely unnecessary. And it devalues every other title. Just take WrestleMania for example. Almost every match is going to be a title match. 9 of the 13 matches that I'm aware of are title matches and two of those non-title matches are the battle royals and will most likely be on the pre-show. So that means that the only non-title matches on the main show will be the Ronda Rousey debacle that no one wants to see and Daniel Bryan's match.
WWE championships are quickly becoming participation trophies.

They were supposed to have their own show but I doubt that will ever happen. My guess is that the NA and UK belts get unified by the end of the year and the North American title absorbs it.

WWE could make the product absolutely perfect again and still everyone would complain. Some people just aren’t happy ever.

Belt looks nice and has an old school vibe to it... I like it. It will be cool to see if it’s defended every week like a TV title.
Speaking of TV titles, this belt shouldn’t have been called that because NXT doesn’t have a TV deal. NXT North American Championship sounds fine to me.

Man.... where do I begin on this garbage. First off the name North American champion makes no sense. NXT is North American based. NXT is 99% North American shows. Tje concept of a second single title should have been a TV Title that was defended weekly. As far as the title design, it looks like someone ran to WWE2K and created a belt with generic strap, main plate, and detailing. I’m also not a big fan of strap coloring. Red sticks out too much, and really does set this belt aside from the others, which is the responsibility of the main title, not the secondary title. Yeah the fact they are making a North American title is intelligence insulting. I thought NXT was supposed to be the brand that made sense and catered to smart fans?

I'm with jayrod2009 - it's not super sexy, but it should have been called the TV title. It's traditional and makes the most sense. You have a roster made up of people from Mexico, Amsterdam, Wales, Ireland, Japan, to name a few and you have a "North American" title? How can NXT have a TV title when they arent even on TV? It should be called the NXT Internet Championship but between Raw, Smackdown and NXT, there are just too many championships.

I like it , its the return of the n-american title, and ted dibidiasi was the first champion in 79... I was hoping more for the return of the canada title belt owned by dinonbravo in 1985. So only north americans can win it , like the uk title, or its like the europe title anyone can win it ? So now we have Raw: universal, inter, women, tag team Sdown: wwe, us, women, sd tag team Nxt : nxt, uk, n-a, women, nxt tag team 205 live : cw
Soon to be: cw tag teamWe are still missing from the past: Hardcore Europe Women tag team Tv title Canada title Night of Champions would be 7 hours long if all those championships were defended on the show.

Well your right, and I thought about "Cable" title but that sounded too cheap. But actually the NXT Network Title would have been perfect - but you get the point - North American Championship is kinda huh?
