I just finished watching this. It took me a few days to watch because it is a very long event. I'll just share some thoughts, if you disagree don't take it personally.
The first thing that caught my attention was the crowd. They had some men sitting front and center, sitting comfortably. It seemed like they were taking up several spots so I assumed that they were Royalty/government of some kind. Then I noticed some kids wearing Cena shirts and more noticeable was a KO shirt with the USA flag in the KO letters. I just thought to myself, those shirts must have been given to those kids.
Then it looked like the ringside area was vacant. It looked like several meters between the small ringside crowd and the people sitting in the stands. Again, I wonder if that was done to protect the VIPs sitting ringside.
The matches were ok. I thought more titles would change hands just so WWE could have on the records that titles were changed in Saudi Arabia. When only one title changed hands I started wondering about how WWE staff was treated on Arabia.
I can't stress enough how much I HATE the shakey cam that wwe seems to love using these days.
Cam 1 establishing shot
Cam 2 punch thrown
Cam 3 alternate view of action
Cam 4 shot from behind person being hit
Cam 1 establishing again

..........
They switch camera 8 or 12 times when punches/kicks are being thrown. It is annoying.
Every match seemed rushed and unimportant. Maybe because the event was so long? Or again, I thought, because maybe the Saudi's had certain demands that needed to be met.
I saw no reason for Undertaker to wrestle Russev, and win, other than some Saudi prince probably loves the undertaker.
The Lesnar match really seemed phoned in to me. That match really seemed like it had little to no thought out into it other than, let's do as little as possible.
The Rumble match.
I had no idea Randy Orton was that popular in Arabia.
Bryan was proof positive that wrestling is a work. The man isnt big, he's far from the strongest, I didnt see him being very fast, I saw nothing that made me see Bryan as a star. But yet he went in first and lasted till the end? To me this is what's wrong with wrestling today. A guy going in 1st and lasting that long does a disservice to pro wrestling and only succeeds at appeasing one person or small group of people.
I was disappointed that not one of the 50 rumble spots was occupied by a local wrestler. They could have called Power Uti.
Shane faced off with KO in the rumble again, battle of the pajamas, take two. Shane should not be wrestling. FYI Shane is the only person to be a referee at the first Rumble and a wrestler in the latest Rumble, more than 30 years later.
Also Rey Mysterio. He wore a shirt. Is that because it is illegal in Arabia to worship Christ? Rey has a Rosary Tattoo that I can remember, probably more religious tats that I think they made him cover.
At the end, when presenting the belt and trophy the Saudi in the ring seemed so goofy to me. I thought he must be a big wig of some type to be allowed to goof around.
Last I thought to myself. What ever prince/royal paid for that event probably has the money to launch his own promotion of they really wanted to.
I enjoyed that there was no women's matches on the show. I'm not a fan of women's wrestling. The ladies matches usually have tons of botches in them. That and the fact that most women performers are a flash in the pan. Here one day gone the next.
It'll be interesting to see if this is repeated. Maybe a Saudi Prince will want to throw the Best Wrestlemania Ever event in November.
