The lack of elite Sting kills me. There's so many looks they could go and they choose to release the same crap over and over with no adjustments or variation.

I'm rewatching 85 WWF so I'm now in for a Steamboat with black tights and boots. I also "need" a 1991-92 WCW version.
For Flair, I'm surprised we haven't gotten the purple tights/white boots combo from his prime and an all red attire with a bowl cut like he had during the Monday Night Wars era.

There should definitely be some more Flairs with robes - only 2 in the whole line? Come on, Mattel... We might get ONE in the Elite line sometime like they did with Charlotte if there's a set where they can finagle it in with a bunch of guys in black, but we're running the risk of nasty rubber robes and nobody wants that. I wouldn't mind... the plastic robes on the E6 Goldust and E8 Regal were pretty great(!).

They gave Charlotte a cloth robe and every once in a while they put a "Flashback" in the regular Elite line. So, one elite slot for a Flair with a robe shouldn't be a problem. Or Hell, put it in the Entrance Greats, have it be his Starrcade '83 attire. I think the 2001: A Space Odyessy theme is public domain now I think.

Mattel need to make more figures of me in various attires etc. Surfer sting, for instance, has such an iconic and unique look. Crow sting looks like no one else in wrestling as well (unless Mattel decide to give us my brother in paint Vampiro ). We should have as many Stings as we have Mattel Warriors.

As far as Steamboat is concerned, I'm a sucker for his attire he wore at the first survivor series. Red tights, white boots. Yeah, but, you can do that right now with a Legends/basic boot swap. I liked that attire, too. ‘87 Survivor Series was so meaningful to be but I’ve gotta get that WMIII Steamboat in elite form to complete my Steamboat/Savage diorama.

No good elite surfer stings frustrates me Amen! Normal sized head, normal length neck, and not the Batista torso on skinny legs please.

The elite Flair & Steamboat we have gotten are nice! DMs of both are real solid.
You think a 2 pack 89 era (whichever event) is just prime for a release. Details & moulding shouldn’t be too costly either.

But if that's out of the regular Elite budget, then I wouldn't mind a plastic one too... the more Flairs, the better. A cloth-robed EG Flair would be great though - I'm sure one was actually listed for the original EG line a while back...

I desperately want a chi-town steamboat. The lack of Flair's isnt surprising because theres not much they can do with him apart from release him with all his colurful robes which apparently they cant afford because of budget issues. Lot of nonsense If you ask me when they are thinking of releasing a stage the size of of the one in the axxess video. What does a stage have to do with an elite figure budget in your mind?

Well the stage is elite scale, there must be some connection to the respective elite budget. Where's the money coming from while we are always told of budget constraints.

It has nothing to do with the size of a stage, which is a separate product that would have its own budget if produced.

I rest easy knowing the perfect Flair has already been made. It is awesome - but for accuracy, the black robe works better with the HOF/4 Horsemen body...

Like, these guys should have some of the easiest palette-swap attires. Flair, especially. I thought as soon as Mattel signed him, they'd be pumping out figures of him every other wave like they do Savage and Warrior (and I'm not complaining about the number of Savage and Warrior figures), but thus far we've had all of three. What gives? And that's still one more than Steamboat's got, I don't think he's had an Elite in like, six years. We could have had WM III, Chi-Town green, or that nice blue he was wearing when Jake KO'd him on the floor. Guess I just felt the need to vent, sorry. Steamboat's one of my favorite wrestlers and I'm going to have to pay out the arse for that nice 'Dragon' DM. Amen brother!

While I would buy more both Flair and Steamboat it’s the lack of surfer Sting that is frustrating to me. I said it before and I will say it again...I wouldn’t be upset if they released a Surfer Sting in every single wave of every single line they release.

How do you know if the elite series is running a profit with all the variations in price across different retailers? Thats alot of number crunching. Im very sceptical with this sort of stuff.
