So quick story... I work with kids. And I was talking to one about the movie and how much we both loved it. The kid looked at me and says, "but how did Thanos know he wouldn't be part of the 50%?"To which I had no answer. I was kinda dumbfounded, cause he sorta has a point. I assume it was because he had the Gauntlet, but I don't know that for a fact. Isn't Thanos the last of his race? Could be that you can't half something there's only one of, like how Rocket survived as he's the only one like him in existence.

Was Groot the last of his race? This is apparently what happens in the comics: "Groot was the last of his kind once Ronan's army was done with the Flora colossus, however, Groot was able to save the World Pod within himself, which he could use to recreate the Flora colossus race by planting it in the sacred pool." Could be a similar theme in the MCU. Or could be that the other Flora Colossus were able to regrow much like Groot did when Rocket planted him and he became Baby Groot.

Yeah I have no clue, just a thought I had. Because idk why a giant tree man would travel the universe with raccoon unless he was alone lmao.

The thing is, nobody knows s**t. I remember hearing all these so called "experts" claiming to know what happened in Infinity War and they were all wrong. So for that reason alone, I don't mind listening to theories.

I’ve read a couple “reports” on the plot. It’ll be what it’ll be and I’m sure it’ll Be great and give good closure to a few characters

I just got back from seeing it a second time. The wait was driving me nuts, but things kept coming up.
I will say I enjoyed it MUCH more the second time because I was so worried everybody was going to die that I had my ass cheeks clinched for 2 and a half hours. This time I was able to sit back and take it all in.
I loved it. The ONLY part I could live without was Thanos' vision of lil Gamora after he snaps his fingers. Besides that, I think it was damn near perfect. The shear size of it all had me in awe again. Now it's time to look forward to more merchandise and the Blu Ray release. I want it all.

I saw people speculating that the rocket Tony added to his new suit in IW was because of the grief he feels for not being able to catch Rhodey in Civil War when he was falling.
Not sure if it's true, but I like it.

Not sure if it's true, but I like it. There's a long, unspoken history of Stark upgrading his suit based on issues it had in past films. One that comes to mind is that it struggles with electricity in IM2, so by Avengers 1 it can absorb and repurpose the electricity that Thor shoots at him.

I know he’s always working on updated suits, but I never put it together that the upgrades are because of issues from the previous films.
