I was extremely impressed with his promo and physical dramatics on Smackdown. Seems like his injury has actually paid off for the better. I always thought he was a bland and insipid guy, and obviously was paired with Enzo due to mic lacking skills, but he showed me otherwise last night.
I think he has some really good potential in singles action. It's a God send that they decided to put him on Smackdown, because there is no way that he would go over on Raw, but I really think he has a shot on Smackdown. His new gimmick seems to completely ignore everything that has occurred since 2012, and that is exactly what makes this whole situation possible.
People aren't too happy about Bryan's first major comeback feud being with Cass, but I personally think it could be good entertainment. I like this David vs. Goliath build.
Cass has been pretty mediocre in the ring during his entire time at FCW and WWE, but if his mic skills can increase dramatically, like they have, then I am willing to set back and see if his in-ring style has increased. It's pretty obvious the dude has put in a lot of hard work, during his time off. I think the whole situation has serious potential.
What do you all think?

That was a great promo he did last night and he might have something good going with a Cruiserweight bully gimmick. He definitely needed to get away from Enzo Amore.

To me... he's basically Test.... which to me isn't a bad thing... just not a long term main event thing....

Hopefully he's irrelevant by this time next year.

I was not much of a fan before his injury. Besides being tall, I didn't think he had much to offer. Thought he was stale as a face and bland as a heel. Also thought Enzo far surpassed him as both.
All that being said, that promo on SD was pretty good. Caught me off guard. So I'm giving him a clean slate to see if he's improved in other ways as well. Putting him in the ring with Bryan will only help.

His promo last night was really good. He clearly took some form of classes and bettered his skills over the 7 months he was out. He probably still is awful in the ring though. He honestly does not have the look. He has a "skinny fat ass" as Triple H would say where he's both skinny and fat somehow at the same time. His head is also the size of pea and he looks like an uglier version of Edge.

it was his best promo no doubt so kudos to him for improving. Not sure why he stole Enzo's only suit though?! Those sleeves were waaaaay too short.

I can see him as a solid mid-carder for the next 5-10 years. He’s solid in the ring for a guy his size (watch his match with Jericho on Raw from a few years ago).
My problem is that he’s just coming off a major injury and going right into a feud with the most over star in the company when he didn’t have any momentum or much heat before his injury. On top of that, he’s likely to go over Bryan due to Miz interference at the next PPV.
They should start him in the midcard and build him up over the next year before he moves into a main event feud. Joe, Miz and Nak are the main event heels on SDL. Cass would do well to dominate the midcard for a year.

If he shows up to his next match with more than 4 moves then ill start paying attention, his singles matches were atrocious.
His promo on SD was a good start, his promo the week before wasn't great though so Ill wait to see his next one before I decide if he's improving or he had a lucky moment.

Cass got me interested with this one. I'll bite. Only time will tell if it's a crap sandwich or not.

I personally have to see how he performs in the ring before I can have a fully formed opinion on him. What he’s shown so far has been promising, but that doesn’t mean anything if he still wrestled like he used to.

If he continues to cut promos like the one he did on SmackDown, I’ll become a fan.

Ehh. It’s going to take more than one promo for him to win me over. He was pretty rubbish in the ring, so hopefully he’s atleast tried to improve.

His promo was good but I like to see one or two more to see if it was a one time thing and see how he does with Bryan in the ring. So pretty much a wait and see before I come to a real conclusion.

He looks like Nathan Jones if he had stopped working out and had a head transplant with Edge. His mic skills seem generic. He seems clumsy in the ring too. Basically he's getting a push due to his height. He will have to either drastically improve, get put in another tag team( which hides his flaws) or get released.

Vince McMahon has a fetish for tall men, so Big Cass will get plenty of opportunities.
Personally, I've not been impressed with him, but he's still super green, so we don't really know what he's capable of. He got hurt just as he was breaking into a singles push.
I'd like to see him get in a little bit better shape. His body just seems a little "SAWFT" to me. lol
