I signed up for Amazon last year. I've enjoyed Amazon video. My subscription is up in May. I will renew my subscription.......
But
I was left wondering. I've purchased movies on Amazon video. If you cancel your subscription, do you lose the movies you own? I just imagine that if you cancel the subscription you wouldn't be able to open video anymore.
Has anyone gone through this? Do you lose your movies? Can you access them despite not being a subscriber?

I have prime. It's time to renew. I'm going to renew. I was just wondering. If you cancel prime, cancel the streaming service, would you still be able to access your movies?

Purchased video content is not tied to your Prime status, just your Amazon account. If you cancelled Prime, you'd lose access to their Prime Video Library, but you're still able to purchase/rent individual titles and access titles you previously purchased.
