I'm happy! Anybody see the fight that almost happend? It was crazy! Proctor was ready to kick some ass. Farnsworth would of tackled someone again. its about time a Yankees pitcher threw at a guy. Clemens

What will happen to Igawa, Hughes and Karstens when Clemens joins the rotation?

What will happen to Igawa, Hughes and Karstens when Clemens joins the rotation? My guess is when all are 100% healthy (if they are) that the rotation will look something like this 1)Wang 2)Clemens 3)Pettitte 4)Mussina 5)Hughes Rasner, Wright, DeSalvo and Igawa will all either move to the Pen or Minor leagues

Let the Yankees have that prick. He would have definitely helped us, but we're still fine without him.

Wouldnt it make more sense for Hughes to get more work in the minors and have Rasner as the #5 starter?

Wouldnt it make more sense for Hughes to get more work in the minors and have Rasner as the #5 starter? Why would that make more sense? The Yankees have, arguably the greatest pitcher of all time pitching for them for the remainder of this season. They're going to want Hughes to be around him as much as humanly possible and for Clemens to take him under his wing. No doubt in my mind that the rotation will be Wang, Pettitte, Mussina, Clemens, Hughes once they're all healthy. Rasner will likely be the long man in the pen. Any way you want to look at it, this is a huge acquisition for the Yankees. ESPN is already saying how "he's not the same Roger Clemens as he was in 1991." Well, I'll take a 75-year-old Roger Clemens over some of the douchebags we've stuck on the mound this season. I made a post about how I thought the Yankees would land Clemens, and he basically reiterrated everything I said in his press conference.

I'm happy Clemens didn't go back to the Astros even though it doesn't really mean anything to me because the Cards and Stros aren't winning crap this year anyway.
Clemens at Fenway, if the Yanks let that happen, should be entertaining at least.
