When AJ hits Nakamura with a low-blow, it may be one of the loudest crowd reactions ever. I thought they were going to have him do it last night

AJ you're a goddamn millionaire at this point Buy a cup I think they're building up to AJ wearing a cup at Backlash. Nakamura goes for the groin, boom! No effect, Styles reveals cup to big pop, possibly whacks Nakamura over the head with it, retains title. All hail the cup! The angle is a little below the talents of both men, I think. Ya know, if the ref sees that and we end in a DQ, are we happy to get another match? Or maybe AJ reveals the cup but Nakamura comes up with something else and finally gets the win?

Ah, well the ref would be down before Nakamura goes for the groin. If they want to silly it up, Nakamura goes for a headbutt to the groin, knocking himself out. Like Bret Hart using the body shield against Goldberg'spear.

Nakamura needs to win Sunday otherwise he looks like a total chokeartist next to Roman.

After watching post-Superstar Shakeup 2 SDL, I can say a few things
The Original Gutting of Shakeup 1 definitely harmed SDL. But, SDL tried to make lemonade out of lemons. They tried to manufacture Jinder as a top heel right away, and thus they made him a strong focal point. They couldn't really do a lot with Dango and Breeze other than to beat the dead horse Tully into the ground with weekly fashion files that took away time from matches. (Not dissing Breezango as I love them) These are just examples. So SDL suffered. (What I mean is the writers tried to create a lot of stars during that time period and were limited to what they could do with them. So, the production suffered.
Now that they have a lot of established characters in the women, tag, and men's division, the focus can be once again on small backstage segments and longer matches. As a result, we have a pre-Superstar Shakeup 1 SDL with some of the best talent from an athletic perspective.
I've enjoyed SDL a lot more since Shakeup 2

The match is NO DQ Yeah, I literally just read that on a smack down recap. Getting home late and not paying as close attention is my bad.

Looks like my cup knockout finish would have been a better piece of booking than what we got...
