it pisses me off that Jeffrey Lurie finally gave in and let the Eagles wear throwbacks for a game, but decided to go with the hideous 75th anniversary that pay homage to jerseys that no one was alive to see in 1933. god dammit, throw me a bone and let them wear the kelly green jerseys and silver pants! anyway, the eagles offense is a debacle but the defense has been pretty damn good considering the circumstances... if the offense decides to click in any way, shape or form, Detroit shouldn't be too much trouble. that said, if we lose, i'm officially starting/jumping on the "fu ck it, lets tank the season and draft Calais Campbell or DeSean Jackson" bandwagon

even with my bias hatred for the Cowboys aside, as a spectator last season I really did not see anything special in Tony Romo. I thought he'd clock in with a mediocre season or two before becoming a back-up on some other team a few years from now. I just couldn't see anything that suggested he was the next in line behind Staubach and Aikman.
but I'll admit... he's looked pretty damn good through 2 games this season. so he either possesses some of that gusto that I didn't see in him, or Jason Garrett and co. have tailored an extremely efficient offensive system for him. either way, its not a good thing for the rest of the NFC East.
not to mention, I don't even think that the defense has fully bought into Wade Phillips' philosophy yet. so when they do, thats really gonna be scary.

I really think we need to win this game, if we don't, this will be the earliest I have counted out my team ever.

And a lot of their problems on defense, in my opinion, stem from not being able to cover the opposing team's No. 1 WR. With Newman out, the Cowboys secondary is in absolute shambles. If he makes a healthy return, Plaxico Burress won't be catching 3 touchdown passes.

i wonder if denver will whip out their horribly ugly orange helmet retro's this year. considering it seems to be the cool thing to do this year. Yeah it started with the Steelers throwback uniforms this past Sunday. I am a huge Pittsburgh fan, but I hate the throwback uniforms. I caught the end of the game, but not the entire. Will Anderson or Quinn start for the "Dogpound?"

Derek Anderson, without question... The guy threw 5 TD's in a win over a division rival that they were supposed to get killed by. There's no way they throw in Quinn this week unless Anderson gets hurt.

I would much rather see the Kelly Green jerseys. I wonder if the Falcons are going retro?

I agree, but you can't pull a guy after he has a good performance like that.

Maybe *not crossing fingers* Anderson will get benched somehow and Quinn will come in and have a Ben Roethlisberger rookie season. I would much rather see the Kelly Green jerseys. I wonder if the Falcons are going retro? Probably. They need to change their image due to a certain dog lover.

There is 0% chance you see Quinn in the next few weeks, barring an Anderson injury, even with a terrible game this week, you will not see Quinn yet.
There is just no need.
And he will not have a Big Ben type season, because his team is terrible.

Yeah, there is no reason to start Quinn at all. Especially since he missed most of training camp.

OK. New topic...... Why couldn't Pittsburgh and Houston play like this last season?

Pittsburghs played scrub teams, they are good, but they are not that good.
And Houston....because David Carr sucks and Matt Schaub does not

Well David Carr was bad, so theres the answer on why they werent that good. Maybe they are better because of their D, but a lot of it had to do with Carr and their team just not being good

Romo short-arms every pass, too, which makes him at least three-times more a douche bag.
