Anybody else noticing this? My E58 Sheamus & both my E58 Ambrose are like this.... Both completely warped

I have had figures in the past with warped feet like that. I think the last was around e51.

That POA, is a POS. The ankle pivot is - and always will be garbage. So glad basics don't have it anymore. These pics are yet more evidence it should be scrapped entirely. Can someone tell me what purpose this ugly-looking, joint, actually serves? Most of the time they're too stiff to move, anyway.

Thread title worried me for a moment.
My No Way Jose has this. I used to have a Jericho with it too. It doesn't really hinder the movement very much, but it makes for an eye sore if displayed on a shelf.

Yeah feet are a problem for me. Usually it’s that the ankle joint is super floppy, but I’ve had this a few times too. In fact, unless I’ve just been unlucky both times, I think the mold they use on the Wrestlemania 32 and Elite 55 Undertakers has banana feet. I mean I can generally dodge paint issues but when you pay £20 for a figure then can’t even put it in your display for fear of it falling and playing dominoes with the rest of your collection...

I just bought a No Way Jose today that has this. I’ve never had it on any other figures and it doesn’t affect his ability to stand so it doesn’t bother me.

Had it happen to my kofi I got my ringside and also my brock I got from tru. It's pretty frustrating as a loose collector.

They can be very good if done right, Mattel just doesn't seem to know how.

I don't think the ankle articulation needs to be done away with completely, just modified more. They could do like Hasbro does with their ankle rockers perhaps. Taking away articulation is never the answer.

Don't know why someone would want rock solid ankles. I like to pose my figures so the articulation is important. Basics imo are pretty much useless at this point. I'm wondering what extra articulation Bill said the elites might get.

I'm surprised so many people have a figure with that problem. I've been fortunate enough to not have any figures with that issue. Sod's Law dictates my next 100 figures will now suffer this foot issue lol

If there was a button that would give us back the good arms for all figures and give them the basic ankle joints I would push that button. The elite ankle joints have always been weird for me while the basic ones have always been just fine.

If only we had the Marvel Legends Style of ankle rocker pivot, alas I don't think that will ever happen.

This can be fixed. Use a hair dryer on it until the plastic softens up then shape it the correct way and put it in the freezer for like 30 minutes. When it thaws it should be normal if done correctly. Happened with my battlepacks 49 Foley and Bryan. And more recently the elite58 Matt Hardy.

They cannot get rid of ankle articulation. That will send them right back to the stone age. What they need to do is redesign the ankle joints(maybe just a simple ball-peg) so we can have actual ankle articulation.

I have/had at least 3 figures feet with this issue. Heating it up, flatten it out & putting it in the freezer did the trick.

My flashback Lord Steven Regal was just like that. I fixed it a little bit. I dumped it in hot water and tried to shape it back in place. He stands up now. I had an Elite 47.5 Kane that had an extra piece of plastic in the ball joint that caused his leg to not straighten out. Trained prayed, took my vitamins and got the leg to finally straighten.
