Making Reigns an unbelievable underdog isn't going to stop ppl from walking out. Regardless of the finish, the WWE title match should have closed the show. While I am a firm believer that the biggest championship on the card should close the show it wouldn’t have worked here only because Nakamura shouldn’t be in a main event.

If this was NJPW Nakamura, I would have to disagree. But he's clearly been unmotivated for the better part of 2 years , so I can see where you're coming from.

More so than that, the finish would have been a terrible way to end the show for the live crowd. I mean it's easy to look back now and go "well they walked out," but prior to the event the mindset is send them home on a clean finish. They couldn't do that with the WWE Title match. I agree with PJ, and you, that WWE Nakamura isn't working out at all but the only justifiable reason to not close the show with that match was the double d*ck kick ending. In retrospect, one can easily argue the double d*ck kick was a better ending to the show than Roman Reigns beating Joe in a glorified squash match, but that's after we saw the crowd reaction. I think the solution to the problem was to let the IC Title or one of the Women's Title matches close the show. Joe vs Reigns was a meaningless match with nothing on the line. It got the reaction it deserved in that spot. Nothing we can do now but WWE absolutely should have seen it coming. Their denial level with Reigns is like nothing we've ever seen before.

WWE needs to stop ramming Roman Reigns up our asses. Or at the very least buy us dinner first.

Build the company around Rollins. Not Reigns.

The fact that they're trying to make Reigns like Daniel Bryan bothers me, because nobody is going to buy Reigns as an underdog when he's been handed main events and titles.

Why does everyone say "thoughts?" when making threads Maybe because if he didn't type "thoughts?" people would think he was just showing something but not expecting a response. Anyway, unless the entire arena or maybe half the arena walk out on a Roman match, WWE won't be concerned.

I thought Styles/Nakamura was the last match? Ha, that's funny. I turned the ppv on late, so I assumed that the Roman/Joe match had already happened.

The sad part is, I think Roman could be one of the best heels in years, if they'd allow it. Meanwhile you got Braun, Rollins, Balor, & Ambrose all waiting in the wings to be your top faces on RAW. Let Roman loose and everyone will benefit. Especially the fans.

JR fired back at the fans for leaving.
I mean, fans are tired of Reigns closing every show and being booked as the end all be all.
I’m way over Reigns. Main reason I don’t pay much mind from WM until SS.

Main reason I don’t pay much mind from WM until SS. I get that JR is wrestling through and through, but people are allowed to like what they like and dislike what they dislike. Until he gets over his unhealthy fascination with tweeting half naked pictures of Celeste Bonin, I'll take what he says with a grain of salt.

I turned the show off after the Styles/Nakamura match... although I did watch the last two matches the next day... it just didn't feel like something I had to watch live....

After watching WM/the Oil Rumble/Backlash, I cancelled and it feels nice.
I hope more crowds show their distain by leaving as soon as a crappy main event starts. People not buying tickets/walking out and cancelling the Network are really the only options right now.

Walking out hardly accomplishes anything, WWE already has their money.
