Wow, that's pretty cool. If he can do this, can he make a regular sized R&B Greg Valentine just for me and my collection??? This is what I thought of! They look amazing, if only he could do regular sized guys that are as close to the prototypes as possible. Valentine, HBK, Brutus etc. Maybe even Hart Foundation Anvil, Tugboat and others that didn't get past sketch stage. Give us what Hasbro never did, and Mattel doesn't seem to want to do anytime soon either. Would love all of those and an Ax on Crush's body with a different left arm (the arm in the sketch for Ax seems a bit different, farther away from the body, than Crush's arm on his figure - closer to body). I kind of wish Mattel would do a collectors edition of the retro figures and do Valentine, HBK, MM Brutus, HF Anvil, Tugboat, Ax, Kamala with the moon on his belly, the rumored Orange Card Series guys: Diesel, USA Lex, Men on a Mission, Jeff Jarrett, and Bastion Booger, in the form/style that they were supposed to be in as Hasbro's. Have them as a limited run exclusives sold on Ringside Collectibles website or WWE.com. I know, I'm a dreamer...

Ugh, hate to see this. Also someone just posted a fake Greg Valentine R and B on the auction site and I reported it and am requesting anyone else on here to report it as well. It's the one that is listed for under $1000, an obvious fake. Let's get that thing taken down.

"may or may not be an original or may be custom" lol

This guy is such a moron. It got taken off after our requests so he relisted it and someone actually bid $100 on it to start. The idiot doesn't even realize that the image in the proto picture is mirrored, so his arms are going the wrong way. Ugh what a dope.

It only takes 30 seconds of research to figure out all the figures in that photo are backwards.

Wow, those are absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to get my hands on all the Ultimate Warriors, green card series and Red card Bret Hart.

Not disagreeing with anyone here but for what it’s worth here’s my 2 cents worth. I own several of these custom 2 ups that Darren has made I have Michaels black and silver, bart Gunn, macho 1, Gonzalez, Adam bomb, evil crush, mr perfect, Yokozuna and Dibiase and 2 undertakers. They first thing I can say after owning 2 ups before real ones is that you can tell the different straight away in the customs. Darren has always and I mean always stated in his listings that these are 100 custom and I honestly hand on heart can vouch for him being one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He spends so much time and money making these for very little profit. He recently quit his job cause he was getting crap in his work and he’s making these on a full time basis. There’s a huge market for these he’s sold over a hundred easy and they look amazing. I think for people who can’t afford the real ones these are amazing to have in your cabinets. I know people don’t like copies and all but come on I can tell difference between a real one and a custom with 1 picture surely most of you can do the same. It’s not his fault that he’s noticed a gap in the market and jumped at the chance to capitalise before someone else did cause trust me he’s not the only one making them. Several of the worlds top hasbro collectors in the UK, Germany, USA, Australia, Canada, etc.... all have some of his creations in their collections. Not trying to start beef with anyone just people need to get to know the guy he’s one of nicest guys I’ve ever met.
Plus on another note the conversation got bit mixed up here it wasn’t Darren who had that Greg r and b custom up at a mad price on eBay that was someone else

Oh ok gotcha. Guess Brutus, and HBK could be done as the molds are readily handy. Just a matter of the paint work turning out perfect. The others could be sculpted though I would think. I know at least a couple of great customizers had done nice clay work to to Valentine. Still, these counterfeits will get to the aftermarket: bad idea... That's more on the people who do that though than the person who produces them imo So as an example - my son loves current wrestling but he also loves 90s wrestling. He has the warrior and hogan talking hasbros in his room but he loves yoko and hasbro never made a large yoko bar a couple of 2-ups which will be thousands. If i get the yoko 2 up for his display it would stay just there and I think that's fine. If people buy these then try and pass them off as original thats more on the people doing that imo

I think it'd be cool to get a Piper from him. I probably wouldn't spend the money push come to shove but these are great looking. Seems like it would be incredibly easy to tell the difference between these and the real deal.

I would think the same, someone who's spending the large sums to collect those, probably would be very careful of what they're buying. I don't really follow much on 2-ups as it really doesn't intrest me. But, don't they typically show their age in most cases too?

Major props to whoever puts together an entire set of 2-UP sized figures - lol
They look cool as hell, if I still collected I'd probably get a few of, say, my top 5 figures just for display fun.

Tough one.
One one hand, they are amazingly well done and cool. The art and ability itself is beyond reproach. It's great to see cool customs.
On the other, it does take away from the coolness and legitimacy of the actual thing on the market.
I'm not a Hasbro guy, so it's tougher for me to reflect on this. I am an LJN guy and we didn't have 2 ups.

If you’re buying 2-up in the first place, you should probably know what to look for and what questions to ask before buying.

Yeah, the select handful of people who are going to buy real 2UPs should be able to do their research. The people who get scammed over these will be such a small percentage.
With that said, I recently ordered an Andre The Giant and can't wait for it to arrive!

Did I just read that this guy quit his job to make these customs, which sell for $100 each? Sheesh!? What is real estate going for in his neck of the woods?
