Seriously, just wait until around Christmas and pick these up from the clearance bin. or people can just stop being cheap and support the line, so we have others going forward. I’m not gonna support anything that’s done half assed or poor part choices. Mattel WWE figures have gone to crap the last 1-2 years and it just keeps getting worse.

Gamestop doesnt know how to sell toys. They just put out a few figures and Funko Pops and hope gamers check it out and buy it.

The last time I went to GameStop to find the List of Jericho figure, the employee looked at me & basically said “Action figure? Sir this is a video game store.” GameStop shouldn’t be handling exclusives or even regular figures. And I hate store exclusives.

Yes this made me frustrated as well. I did a follow up for the macho man, it got pushed back and then the cashier recommended I get Shawn micheals up for reservation because they are coming soon. I said ok. Two weeks later I did another follow up, they said it's coming soon and said I should reserve the new wwe Funko pop wave with micheals and jake the snake. Came back two weeks later, and they said all of them got pushed back and then they offered to reserve bobby roode entrance greats. I said "hell no", that entrance great is already availble in my k-mart and my Kmart is ALWAYS late on sh#t! Once I get these pre orders in,'never again. Gamestop's life blood is the RESERVATION! They thrive on it. I only do it on things I'm pretty sure won't be easy to find or once in a while I'll do it to bump my local store's reserve numbers because they're good guys.

Gamestop's 90s Rocker Shawn ain't gonna compare to this '90s Rocker Shawn:

Your first mistake was preordering.
As stated above, they thrive off of preorders. When it comes to collectibles, that aren’t funko or the occasional figure, don’t trust the date. They are always subject to change

Gamestop's 90s Rocker Shawn ain't gonna compare to this '90s Rocker Shawn: I agree, those are really nice. The blending of colors on the tights are much better and I like the size of the wrist bands on these. The things around the boots are still a little big but better than what was on the Retrofest figure. Very nice customs.

This is why I rarely pre-order figures. Just not worth it most of the time to me.
Also, making some figures store-exclusive is f*ing DUMB. Whoever's idea that was is an idiot. Yeah, limit your product to ONE store instead of multiple stores. Genius stuff, Mattel.

I hope the GameStop exclusive marvel legends 10 year line ronan isn’t gonna follow the same pattern on constant changing release dates.

Target and Wal-Mart are awful at stocking exclusives. It's just been a massive failure. Sure Mattel gets paid, which they have made clear is the only thing that matters. But the relationships with the people buying their crap is failing.

You just justified why Mattel does it. Why would they turn down profit? And why keep complaining about it? If you want them to listen, then don't give Mattel you're money, then. I personally have never NOT been able to find exclusives and I live in well populated scalper towns. Just be persistent and you'll find them. DON'T put them back thinking "oh, I'll get it later". That just causes regret later.

Idiots wait for it to clearance and wonder why the line doesn't continue.. $30 for what they’re offering, the line shouldn’t continue. People should wait for clearance and let the line die. Buying the figures at that price sends a message to Mattel that they can charge $30 for a regular elite and we will pay. Then soon Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc exclusives will be $30.

It might be 20 more years, but the way Mattel does things will catch up to them. I don't get into the scalper arguments, because I've seen people on here buy 6 of the same figure for some illogical reason. But that said....tnf 3...specifically Rollins...still has never shown up within 30 miles of me. One store just outside that range had it once but it was the only one gone when I got there. That's never gonna show up now. Many people have similar issues with stote exclusives. I get why they do it. But they need to get its bad for customer relations. But I buy almost exclusively from Amazon. Retail or less. Sometimes way less. So I'm good.

Also as already mentioned, the stores ask for the exclusives to get traffic into the store.

No reason for it. I get 1 or 2 and I'm good for a lifetime. As far as "crashing down", then just let it happen. If Mattel loses money and eventually the license so be it. They will have learned from their mistakes and won't have another chance to make them again

Savage is kinda ok, don't like the lame outfit considering he's had WAY more colorful and intricate outfits. Won't get Shawn , won't get Savage (after the 20th savage, I'm burned out and tired of them) BUT Honky is what the line SHOULD be and SHOULD have started with. I'll buy THAT but my supporting that figure, it might be too late if Shawn and Savage fail to sell. Then MAYBE Mattel will learn their lesson. Who knows.
