If this is posted in the wrong section, can a moderator please move it for me? Thanks. Now we’ve seen Mattel make a few figures in “street gear”, mostly figures from the Attitude Era. From what I can remember, those figures sold well too. So why do you guys think we don’t see many current figures in “street gear”? It’s a format Jakks tackled and seemed to have faired well for them. Maybe MattelDesignTeam can give insight, if they haven’t already. I don’t keep track of everything confirmed/not confirmed by Bill and the team. The only thing I can think of is that wrestlers appear to be wearing their ring gear on TV more often than they used to years ago. Who are some current talent that could benefit from a figure/figures in “street gear” form?

I don’t think we ever see wrestlers in their street gear anymore. Closest would be wearing their T-shirt during an interview segment. But you never see a guy walk out to the ring in jeans or suits anymore. Except for guys like Ambrose and Elias where jeans are their ring gear. Honestly the only one I can think of that still comes out in suits is the Miz.

(Except for guys like Ambrose and Elias where jeans are their ring gear) Then a follow-up question: Would you be interested in Mattel releasing guys in kind of a “custom” street gear style? Guys in suits, dress pants, jeans, etc. Similar to the BCA days. Seems to be a way to get “street gear” figures into the line in an Era where wrestlers aren’t wearing street gear much on TV. Then again, Sheamus was wearing jeans and a shirt on SmackDown this week. Which is what sparked this idea.

There aren't many I can think of who it'd work for... Miz in a suit, and I guess the Miztourage as well... Titus O'Neil... That's about it. Nobody really has the iconic looks for promos anymore like Austin used to with the jeans and merch shirt, or Rock with the $500 shirts, or HHH with the leatherdenim.

Honestly except for maybe a suited Flair and a Triple H in jeans (molded) and his hHh denim vest/ leather jacket I doubt I would buy any street clothes figures.

I find it mad we’ve still not had a molded track pants and sleeveless shirt Brock yet. I’d definitely buy a suited Miz too

I wouldn't mind a Miz in a suit since he frequently appears that way for Miz TV segments. Other than that, I can't think of anybody whose "street gear" stands out as being worthy of a figure.

I don’t mind street gear attire, however I’d prefer a SG (soft good) shirt or even the over sized plastic vinyl bulletproof vest “shirt” over molded on torso shirt. Molded on torso shirts make elite figures look like basics.

We got the festival of friendship with both in street clothes. We are getting a NXT HHH in a suit. Roman periodically comes with a T-shirt instead of vest. The molded T-shirts on basics with ring attire are released all the time and is pretty much most wrestlers street clothes these days. As said before, Miz and Miztourage in suits. Rousey in Hot Ronda shirt and leather jacket will likely be made before her wrestling attire since she appeared in nothing but that for months prior WM34. Brock is probably the street clothes wrestler they need to do most with molded track pants and a cloth cut off shirt. After we get WCW and 03/04 Goldberg then we will likely start seeing some of him in street clothes.

I would not mind some basic figures being street gear, like Miz, Mahal in a suit or a promo Brock, however I would not hold my breath on us getting stand alone current street gear figures unless they're in a set like Epic Moments KO.

I’d like to see people done in their street fight gear such as: - Shawn Michaels from SummerSlam 2002 and Unforgiven 2008 - Edge from WrestleMania 22 And especially this even as a battle pack:

I've been saying for 6 years they should do an Elite Brock Lesnar where the legs are pants mold and he comes with a removable cloth sleeveless t-shirt. It's how he appears on TV 90% of the time.
As others have mentioned, I think Miz in a suit would be fantastic as well. Maybe with the Miz TV set.
I hope we get a GM Paige, now that she's in that role. We got Kurt Angle, Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan, Stephanie McMahon, and Mick Foley, all in their GM/Commish gear.
I think it would be a cool idea if they did Flashback HHH and HBK in molded jeans and DX t-shirts. Just like the outsiders that came in the Target 4-pack.
I'm really really surprised we haven't had NXT William Regal in a suit yet.....I made my own, but still. It's been like forever and I think he should have been in the set instead of that awful Triple H figure that's coming out in the next series.

E45 Regal head For Attitude Era Commissioner and updated head for NXT GM. I also wish they would do a shirt, tie, and vest torso mold for guys like Regal and Miz who wear 3 piece suits.
