Man, I was originally planning on going to Chatham to my brother's to watch this event, but there's also going to be a great UWA card tonight in Mississauga. I think I might just order it, record it to DVD and when I get back from the event, just watch it. That sounds good enough to me.
I just don't want to miss out on a rare appearance of Jushin "Thunder" Liger & The Ultimo Dragon teaming up against Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley.

Who was it that was named the next challenger to the lightheavyweight title? What was the big surprise?

Who was it that was named the next challenger to the lightheavyweight title? What was the big surprise? Credit: Wrestlingobserver.com Jackson said he and Chuck could do it again. Fans gave Liddell a huge reaction. Dan Henderson came to the ring with two belts. Henderson said he's friends with Jackson and Liddell but is willing to make money with his friends. Jackson tried to get Henderson to take his teeth out. The Henderson thing didn't work as well as it would have with Liddell winning, but such is reality.

Who was it that was named the next challenger to the lightheavyweight title? What was the big surprise? Dan Henderson was the surprise, he's next to fight Rampage now...which should be a really good fight (Henderson winning IMO). I wasn't expecting Henderson to be the suprise, seeing as how he already holds two Pride titles.

Jackson vs Henderson should be good. Hopefully they bring in Wandy to fight Liddell.

Man, a great UFC card from top to bottom. My pick wins again and that was of course, "Rampage" Jackson. I've got to be honest here, I didn't think he'd beat him that quickly. I thought he'd beat Chuck in the 2nd or 3rd round, but 1:58 seconds in the first round sure surprised the hell out of me. Congrats go out to "Rampage" for his KO win over Chuck and his new championship reign.
Another thing I wanted to point out was the upsets that are coming fast & furious in the UFC. I mean, "The Dean of Mean" looked anything but mean in his fight tonight. He got disposed of in quick order to say the least. That was a HUGE upset which will knock Jardine back down in the rankings a little bit.
The next few UFC's should be awesome and I'm looking forward to each & every one of 'em!!

Watching Pride FC since 2002 and seeing Rampage scratch and claw his way to the top only to be taken out by Wanderlei twice, tonight was the most satisfaction I have ever had watching a fight.
Rampage beating Chuck inside the cage was an amazing moment. The UFC fanboys have been talking since 2003 about how things would have been different if they were inside the cage, and tonight against all odds, Quinton proved everyone wrong including a crowd that was against him, all the celebrities (every single one of them picking Chuck), and every single UFC fanboy who had to watch their poster boy getting knocked out by a man who deserved it more. Congrats to Rampage!!
Things are getting so much better in UFC (other than the horrific card for UFC: Victory), with guys like Dan Henderson, Quinton Jackson, and possibly Mauricio Shogun and Wanderlei Silva joining the fray, the LHW division would be the most stacked weight class EVER. If only Fedor....
