I don’t have Facebook, so that’d be the worse case scenario for me. This is exactly what I meant by “potentially bad”. I have Amazon Prime, so maybe that’d be okay. But just okay. Fox Sports would be ideal. Especially if they want SD to rival RAW in terms of importance. Beefing up the roster, going to 3 hours, and giving it its own unique feel would be cool to see. But I think they’d have to give the shows a completely different writing staff to avoid fatigue. Maybe put Triple H and his team in charge of SD and Vince and his crew in charge of RAW. Build SD’s roster to focus on WRESTLING and let RAW be more SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT based. Move talent to where they’d fit the best. If they do all that, this could be great IMO. Time will tell. I think Facebook has a video only app now so you could just sign up for that.

Since Smackdown may be going to a different network, I'd be happy to see them use a different stage to further separate the brands. I always remember thinking how cool the Fist stage was for Smackdown back in the early 2000s.

Really think if USA gives them 3x the money just for RAW, they will want SD go to another network and be a good show and be competition? USA will be enforcing some rules and all the big names will be on RAW, SD will really be treated like the redheaded stepchild it is if this happens. WWE may bank, but the fans and some wrestlers are going to suffer.

A streaming platform for Smackdown would be very interesting, but a move to three hours would be a huge drawback.

I would love to see Smackdown go to a rival network and air live on Monday nights from 8:00 PM to 11:15ish PM. That would really spice of the WWE brand extension rivalry!! Have Stephanie (with Vince really running it behind the scenes) run Raw and Shane (with Triple H really running it beind the scenes) run Smackdown. That will be the only way to make Raw and Smackdown equal. Just imagine what the draft / shakeup episode would be like if both shows were on at the same time!! We would be back to the Monday Night Wars, and flipping channels every 5 minutes. I'm getting excited just thinking about it, as I usually do with all of my ideas.

I think by "Bad News" marino13 means that the brand extension is probably far from ending Why would you want the brand extension to end? There’s too many titles for that to happen, many wrestlers would get lost in the shuffle and everything would be unorganised.

THREE TIMES their last contract wow USA really needs wwe. It would be cool if SD went to fox on Tuesday nights Wherever it goes, it needs to stay live. The ratings would suffer being set on a tape then air schedule again. This. Ans I don't see this as a bad thing at all. RAW will always be watched by millions every week even if it was on freaking PBS. So take the shorter show, put some effort into the storylines, keep it live and give it a primetime spot on one of the largest channels in the country (assuming it's FOX and not Fox Sports)? That's gonna do WONDERS for increasing popularity for WWE and help with making it more mainstream again. It'll never hit 90's mainstream levels again, but this would be great.

I personally don't want the Brand Extension to end, but judging by the majority of posts I read on here most fans on this board want it to end. At least that is the vibe I get by reading them. The Brand Extension is a great thing and if the WWE can get into a good grove with it it could really be a truly amazing thing.

Sorry, got sidetracked. What were we talking about?

As a side note, really made me laugh thinking of Vince and company doing telethons on PBS. 'Please call to help us keep bringing you arenas full of boos for Roman Reigns. If you call now, as thanks we'll send you this WWE-'You deserve it!' tote bag.' lol

Smackdown on Facebook. I can already hear it: "If you support Donald Trump, please don't watch us" or "One million likes=a title shot for...." or "What happens next will shock you!" as they cut to commercial. I've been against pro wrestling+social media from the start. Please don't end up on Facebook.

Smackdown moving to Fox is absolutely huge.
Sounds like they're moving to Friday nights, though, which is definitely not great.

Colin Cowherd just made it sound like they are staying on Tuesdays. Saying "2.6 million viewers on Tuesdays will help our network."
