Colin Cowherd just made it sound like they are staying on Tuesdays. Saying "2.6 million viewers on Tuesdays will help our network." He actually gave WWE credit? He hates them.

Smackdown will now get promoted during NFL Thursday Night Football games. That in itself is worth the move to Fridays.
Ratings will go ^. They will need to work hard to maintain the quality of product as well.
Love this move! Can't wait to see how they structure the roster when these deals start.

not a fan of the friday move, would prefer thursday or just keep to tuesday...but who knows. wonder if they are gonna go to 3 hours too.
the break in TV will be refreshing and i dont see how they cant just adjust the schedule to make the show live, they already tour on the weekends so just start with SD TV on Fridays and go from there. they have the ability now moreso than ever before. if they go with the old taped format it will KILL the show dead....Fox wants this show to make money, not lose it.

They could go live on Friday and then have house shoes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

That's one of the underrated aspects of this move - the show will almost definitely remain two hours. Fox airs local news at 10:00pm, and only has two hours of prime time. Unless they shift to a 7:00pm EST start, it will stay at 2 hours.

The deal is for five years and it's worth $205 million per year.

Apparently WWE turned down more money from Amazon and Facebook because they can get more promotion from Fox. If Smackdown is on big Fox being on network tv every week is a huge home run for WWE.

They should put Talking Smack on FS1 as a "pre show" like they do for NASCAR & UFC events.

Really hope WWE uses this as an opportunity to differentiate the shows from each other a lil more. Start with making Graves exclusive to only one show. And I still like the idea of Triple H and his crew running SD, while Vince and his group run RAW. Maybe make SD focused more on the wrestling while RAW focuses on over the top storytelling. That way no matter what style of wrestling you prefer, WWE is getting your money.

I wonder if this could actually tip the scales and make Raw the B show now?

One good thing for all the talent involved with this deal is both rosters would only have to be on the road Thursday Night - Tuesday Morning giving everyone the same days off unless they have personal appearances to make. SD could easily go live every Friday and I think that was probably a huge part of the Fox deal. It's also great to see Fox already spending some of that Disney cash lol

We’re still a long way away from this move, but I think the brand split will be over by the time the move to Fox happens. They need high ratings, so they’ll have to have the top stars on Smackdown. Sure guys like AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan are top stars, but we don’t even know what the landscape of the roster will be like in fall 2019. And Vince won’t do anything that would harm Raw either.
