Graphically I do not think the WWE games have improved at all over the past few years. People can blame the hardware all they want, but Yukes in terms of presentation have been phoning it in since WWE 2K15. Hair, belts, facial aminations are still horrendous. Still, this is the most forward I have looked to a WWE game since WWE 2K16. It looks like they have made a real effort this time around in regards to single player modes. The Daniel Bryan showcase and the Towers mode which unless I am reading it wrong is like an old school wrestling game where you pick a dude and try and win a championship/clear an objective. Even My Career is something I am willing to give a try. I ing hate My Career with a passion in past games. I hate how it tries to be half real and half kayfabe it simply does not work. But this year it looks like they are at least trying to make it fun.

What’s the story on Ciampa?
Insane to have taken him out from last year, did they forget he existed?

I personally think that we're going to have to deal with the hair physics, facial animations, belts, etc... as they are until these games move to next gen consoles. It would be awesome if they improved even on 2K20, but I think they've maxed out in terms of what they can do graphically on current gen. I'm very much looking forward to the day that these games finesse those finer details to look even more like the real product.

What’s the story on Ciampa? Insane to have taken him out from last year, did they forget he existed? It seems as though he was left out due to his injuries. Still seems a bit odd considering he was back in time for NXT Takeover New Orleans, which is when Ricochet and EC3 debuted. I honestly just don't think 2K had a clue what kind of character they should be building considering he wrestled in street clothes for that match (I think) and it seems he's just settled on a new TV entrance. Might be a stretch but I feel those are the more likely reasons than 2K simply forgetting to include him.

If Ciampa really isn't in for whatever reason, I feel like (but don't know for sure) that it wouldn't be too much work to just release his model from last year as free DLC.

Apart from his Name not being called, having Tron graphics or having any unique Commentary lines during his matches, there should be some damn good Ciampa CAWs to fill the void. If he did make the cut he wouldn't have a theme so that can still be as accurate as it was going to be anyway. Here's a really good 2K17 CAW of him. The mode has gotten better since then so we could have something even better now

Is 2k ever going to bother to give us a '97 Starrcade Sting or at least a '98 crow Sting? Those two are the biggest Sting attires I want.

What’s the story on Ciampa? Insane to have taken him out from last year, did they forget he existed? Just to add onto this topic that I haven't seen anyone else bring up yet, during Adam Pacitti's review of WWE 2K19 for Cultaholic, he mentioned that when he questioned 2K on the likes of Ciampa and Cross not being included, he was told that everyone on the roster has to sign a contract to be in the game. So it seems that Ciampa and Cross just didn't want to sign, if that information is correct. Never thought it worked that way though.

I read some where else that they had to pay a down payment of $3000 to be in the game. So who knows if it’s money they don’t wanna pay

There, There's the reason why Ciampa, Cross, Murphy, and Kendrick aren't in the game.

I'm honestly super curious as to why we haven't gotten a modern day Goldberg attire.
Not that it's a big deal, but it's just... weird.

So they paid to be in the game last year but didn’t want to pay to be in the game this year? Huh lol that doesn’t sense to me. Xkingmoex even mentioned there was gonna an entire new tommaso entrance so that sounds beyond fishy to me.

Yeah, the whole thing about them having to pay $3,000 to be in the game seems bogus to me. I mean, maybe it's true, but it wouldn't explain why two people would pay that fee to be in a game one year and then decline to the following year when they've both become more recognizable and bigger characters since then. I'm still holding out hope that they do a "last minute additions" reveal the week of the release date where they announce the notables who aren't in the game. 2K's silence about it is making it worse. You'd think they would explain it ahead of the release date so that way they at least don't have that hanging over them.

In that shoot interview with Simon Gotch someone posted earlier, he basically said it's a $3,000 flat fee for NXT Talent to be in the game/action figures.
So instead of them paying 3k, 2k pays them 3k and nothing after that. (heh)

That's not what it is. 2K pays THEM 3k to be in the game and forfeit royalties. Makes perfect sense where a guy like Ciampa wouldn't agree to that considering he'd be a big reason people would buy the game, and would want to be compensated for such.

Well, if it's about him not being satisfied with compensation, then that'd be really weak on his part. There have been plenty of other more popular NXT Superstars than him, and nobody ever backed out from a video game because they felt they weren't making enough money from it. That's why I highly, highly doubt that rumor is true. It wouldn't make sense when he's already been in one video game and has had action figures already released/due out.
