it really would be a no-brainer for Vince to invest in a WWE HOF at one of the multitude of theme parks you guys have in the States. It's a sure-bet money grabber for tourists, and much more plausible than a second run at the XFL.
It's strange he's not even considering something like that. Building maintenance? Overheads? Staffing? I'm sure all that is a drop in the bucket compared to their bottom line and ROI.

I mean, the Hall of Fame is a bit of a self-serving joke, but not necessarily for the reasons he lists. It's just one guy in charge making decisions based on his own personal preferences and political motivations. Hall of Fames should contain some sort of element of input from peers, and WWE's certainly doesn't.
It's hard to take a pro wrestling hall of fame seriously when it contains a bunch of celebrities who know nothing about, and have largely had nothing to do with pro wrestling. Not to mention, one that knowingly and happily promotes an award named after, and in the spirit of, a racist and homophobe.
All of those things are far more damning than not having a physical location.
Nevertheless, none of that means an inducted wrestler shouldn't be able entitled to feel pride, or celebrate the idea of being celebrated by his/her peers for a night. Even though the overarching specifics may be a bit of a sham, at its core, it's a nice yearly moment for wrestlers of the past and present.

I definitely want a Steiner Brother's tag team, especially from their WWF run. He doesn't have to be in the hall of fame to get a figure but it sounds like he would want more money than they are willing to pay. As for having a physical hall-of-fame, that would be cool, having artifacts from wrestling history you can go and see. Connecticut makes sense, so does New York - somewhere close to Madison Square Garden. If they don't want a set location, they could always do a traveling hall-of-fame. I think the Negro Leagues had something like that. For all the big events, they could bring artifacts and have a display where people can come and see it. Get some of the old championships, pictures from the biggest moments, tights or ring attire from the top stars, Andre the Giant's boots, etc. if they were gonna do a physical HOF its gonna be in Orlando. NY is a busy/large place and even though theres tons of people visit there I cant say its a "tourist" destination. They were supposed to build one in Orlando @ city walk, replacing the NBA City. I guess plans fell apart, cause I was there over the spring and it NBC sports bar and grill .

Scott Steiner during the late 80's early 90's was one of the single most impressive athletes I've ever seen wrestle. He was muscular, but could pull off moves of men half his size. People are used to that nowadays, but back then it was something special.
But when he was out for a back injury, he had bicep implants put in, cut off his mullet, and got so big he couldn't move. Once he turned heel, I thought it had potential. But his in ring work suffered drastically. He became complacent and bought into his gimmick way too much. After years of watching him blaming everyone else for his shortcomings, I've lost all respect for him.
IMO Big Papa Pump killed the talent of Scott Steiner. But that being said, I do think he belongs in the HOF. I always felt the Steiner Brothers were one of the top 5 tag teams of all time. So based on that alone, he (and Rick) belong.

He's half right. The WWE HOF is a joke but it has nothing to with it but having a physical location. There is only one legitimate pro wrestling hall of fame and it isn't owned by Vince McMahon.

I feel Steiner has gone from main eventer to jobber. In 1999-2003 he was main event lvl now he’s a glorified jobber.

Aww FFS Steiner give me a break will ya? Just shut up and sign a merch deal so I can get
Steiner Brothers: WMIX Scott Steiner: WCW 2000, black shorts with Superman S & chain Mail Scott Steiner: WWE 2002/03 w/Freakzilla tights. Can be red or black.
Of course his brain must be like a raisin from "da roidz" so he probably doesn't have a clue what he's saying half the time.

Never once was he good or even mildly entertaining. Not surprised that he still isn't. The guy is off the rails for sure, but saying he was never good just isn't true. Scott was awesome throughout the early/mid 1990s. He was innovative in the ring and very agile for someone so muscular. That's the thing with him that's most puzzling. He already had one of the better physiques in the business I'm not sure why he felt the need to go overboard with the steroids.

Remember seeing his picture up at the entrance of the hall of fame in San Jose.
It had explicit instructions to not let him in the building.

00-01 Scott Steiner is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. His legend only grows with this type of stuff. I have zero issue with what he’s saying. I do think WWE has been attempting to put a physical HOF at Universal for some time but until they get that done I agree with Steiner. Ignoring the fact that guys like KBW and Rikishi have no ing business in a HOF. So pay the man his money.
