I think there are too many squash matches on NXT each week and 205 on the other hand has some some great matches in recent months ever since they had the tournament for the vacant title when Drake Maverick become GM. The likes of Cedric Alexander, Buddy Murphy, Mustafa Ali and others have really impressed me.

You're certainly entitled to any opinion you'd like. If you enjoy the show more than NXT, more power to you.
As far as I'm concerned, 205 Live is just a bunch of guys with little to no character fighting over a title no one cares about in front of crowds that can barely be bothered enough to pay attention if they even stay in the building. Whereas, NXT is the most consistent week to week product the company has. Even if the weekly TV may, at times, lack, their storylines are almost always logical, well-paced, and intelligently booked. The talent is top notch, the fan base is passionate (albeit, at times, annoying) and the Takeover specials are the best things wrestling has to offer right now (yes, even above NJPW.)

I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed 205 Live more than NXT recently but then again I haven’t consistently watched NXT on a weekly basis since Finn, Nakamura, Joe etc left. The NXT TakeOvers are still great though, I can watch those without watching the weekly show and still know what’s going on due to the video packages.

Personally, I think both shows have pros and cons. But I will say the action on 205 has been DRASTICALLY better since Vince turned it over to Triple H. Especially when you look at this weeks main event with Alexander vs Murphy. Fantastic match from both guys.
I honestly don't mind the way NXT uses squash matches. They usually build to the Takeover events. And that's how things used to be done back in the old days. TV was nothing but an extended commercial. It's one of the main reasons Takeovers are usually so good. Because it's not the fifth time in four weeks that they've wrestle each other.

I love both shows, personally. They are the only WWE shows I keep up with regularly.
I feel that 205 Live has better in-ring stuff on a weekly basis solely for the fact that they don’t have their own PPVs. NXT has more storytelling and quicker matches to lead up to Takeover events where most matches pretty much kill everything WWE has to offer.

They gave us a quick tease of the match and nothing more where as on Raw or Smackdown we woulda been given a full blown 15 minute match and then they probably would’ve wrestled like 2 more times before the PPV.

The ONLY major complaint I have with 205 Live at the moment is, I think they need some new talent ASAP. We've seen all the match ups they have to offer. Buddy Murphy has been great, but now that he's lost his title match, there's really nobody left for Cedric. They need a top (s.o.b.) heel to get the faces over more.
I know people hate this idea, but I'd love to see Gargano & Ciampa move to 205 Live. Their emotional feud is exactly what is missing from 205 Live. Plus Triple H is in charge of both shows, so their feud shouldn't skip a beat. I also would like to see Pete Dunne on there (I know why he isn't). Him & Ciampa are two of my favorite heels in the business. Because as good as they are, they are both very easily hate-able.
Also, do whatever you have to do to entice Neville to return. If he doesn't want to be part of 205, so be it, give him what he wants. But with Vince out and Triple H in, maybe he'd be willing to go back? I don't know, but they need to fix it regardless.

A lot of the people who are within the weight limit and would fit in well seemingly on the show are too big a stars to go there. People like Tye Dillenger, Sin Cara and Roderick Strong (when Fish heals) and many of the British performers I would like to see on 205 in the near future on a permanent basis.

Id love Neville to return to 205, he was the best thing going. Although I think he would thrive better on NXT. Cant have Gargano/Ciampa or Dunne on 205 they are NXT through and through. I like the way Triple H has given the talent on 205 to have good long matches, it worked well during the tournament when the title was vacated and he's continued the trend. Works so well.

I think 205 Live needs about 5 new guys IMO. Especially those with some sort of personality that fans could gravitate to. Also, they'd benefit from taping the show before Smackdown, or tape it from Full Sail.

That's why I think Gargano would be ideal.
Honestly, something I'd like to see (but most likely never will) is if 205, NXT, and the European division all combined into one show. A super NXT of sorts. Maybe even merge the North American, European, and CW titles into one mid card championship. That way rather than have two watered down divisions and a European division that is having trouble getting started, we'd have a perfect third brand. Keep Triple H running it, so wrestling is the focus. We'd be treated to some amazing match ups. Plus one would imagine this would help ticket sales for the NXT brand.
Just a crazy thought.

The idea sounds good, though id rather see them start the UK division. Still holding out hope of WWE becoming an International NWA type of company.

Chad gable should be a star on 205 insteqd of a jobber on raw. Nxt lost a lot steams lately because some big names went the the big roster, hutnthey dont do anything with them like authors of pain and sanity.
205 live is missing tag titles, i really the luchadors party family, drew gulak, cedrick alexander ists like rich swann v.02.
Nxt , the problem too many generics, bald guys with black trunks, no gimmick.

I don't watch NXT because Ranallo is commentating.
Only thing that would get me to watch is Velveteen Dream getting a title match or Dakota Kai getting one. And even then I'd have it on mute.
