I mean I expected them to struggle at first after ditching Paul. I didn't expect them to disappear all together the second they did it.

If these guys don't show up to the next PPV (Money in the Bank) to influence the tag title decision, then I think they are done. On payroll for house shows I guess.
It's weird out the writers have no clue what to do with their talent.

Yeeeeaaaah when Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are #1 contenders instead of Revival or AOP, you know your tag division is ass.

Best thing that ever happened to the Good Brothers was to move to SDL.
The Raw Writing Team seems to follow the position that unless we have a tag team comprised individually of upper mid card talent, no one cares about tag teams. Raw was only good when The Bar and Rollins and Ambrose were around. Now that the division is primarily comprised of actual tag teams with no former World Champion tied to a team, they couldn't care less about how its run.
Alternatively, on SDL, if you're a tag team, prepare to be featured--even if its against 2B who should be so much better than they are. Hopefully 2B vs. GB shows a real spark. I thought Usos would have brought it out of them given their feud as Painted Usos vs. Wyatt Family, but it was just a squash match designed to get 2B over. But I'm going off tangent.
If the Revival was swapped for say the New Day, it'd be perfect. Comedy teams on Raw. Serious tag teams on SDL.

Also, this shouldn't really surprise anyone ever. Back during the Monday Night Wars, new talent that dominated in WWE/WCW who came to WCW/WWE respectively often found themselves in a different role upon arrival. Best example is one of my top ten favs Jeff Jarrett. Went from a jobbing Country Singer (yes he won matches, but he was mroe of a jobber to the stars around that time) to a member of the Horsemen to a NWA Invader and Misogynist Mid Carder to a Main Eventer.
Worst example is Public Enemy.
Just because you're the big fish in a small pond doesn't mean the roster has to use you as a big deal. As much as it hurts to see Ascension, Revival, Roode, and others cast in low to midcard roles, that's the nature of the business. You literally cannot have 34 main events and no mid/lower card.

Read a story last week that said creative has nothing for them.
It was a mistake taking Ellering away from them.

NXT should really be ran as an actual 3rd brand and not development. So many great NXT careers/characters have been lost thanks to main roster writing.

I think it wise to keep them off for now given the current shape of the tag division with many comedy teams. They may not have been brought up with a plan and we all know plans change alot. The tag scene on RAW is in a big down period like we have seen plenty of times in the past where the champs don't feature everyweek and have poor if no viable challengers at all like when Bob Holly and Cody Rhodes and even the Colons had the belts for months with no fanfare at all. Others angles are being pushed and focused on right now instead. But now with the 4 hour PPV cards, they should atleast get a match every month.

It isn't good that WWE calls these guys up after Wrestlemania or SummerSlam now either. Sure, fans get excited to see who will be debuting, but then they end up with way too many guys on each brand and no TV time for them or story lines.
NXT is hurting because they keep bringing guys up. Imagine if guys like Balor, Nakamura, Joe, Roode, Revival, American Alpha were still there with the likes of who is there now. That would be the best place to watch WWE programming.

Usually teams flop over time but these guys have just disappeared. I honestly expected them to win the battle royal on Raw.

You'd think the writers could find 5 minutes in a 3 hour show to trot out AoP and have them win a squash match or two while they try to come up with something long term for them to do. As it is, by the time AoP actually do re-appear nobody is gonna remember or care. Shoulda' kept them in NXT if they didn't have anything for them to do on Raw.

AOP is a disgrace, if the writers dont have any idea for them leave them in nxt. Nxt is less stellar since the ast draft they treat alot of people bad. The Ascension was the worlds longest tag team champions i believe and they dominated everyone. now they job every week losing to useless opponents. The Revival had sick tag matches, especially with DIY and look at them now, jobbing to Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. just terrible
