This is actually becoming ridiculous for UK collectors, not enough stores carry elites which isn't your fault I admit but in the end they get bought by scalpers and we're forced to pay £40 on these figures.
Another question is, why are we missing Elite Chad Gable and Elite Mickie James, two figures we've been wanting for ages yet they get cut? It's a joke, what's the point of releasing Jason Jordan if you can't have his tag team partner. What's the point of just cutting out a big chunk of your market it generally makes no sense.
Edit: I don't think people understand the magnitude of the issue, we have a lack of series as it is again not Mattels fault but now we're missing guys from series that we should 100% be getting. Imagine if Ringside didn't stock one figure from every series that people wanted. You'd be annoyed as well right?

Why am I personally screwing UK collectors? Because I had too much to drink and my wife is out of town. Duh.

I wanted e57 nakamura and he vanished instantly. It doesn't help when the fiver off £15 or £20 promotion starts the day they get the new elite set. I've also noticed too that they get 1 or 2 at the most of each guy in set and they're gone in no time. That's if they get them at all like e58 mickie and e59 gable. It's pretty crap in general with the stock levels in smyths.

First off I’m not screwing anyone. If your stores aren’t carrying something that’s not Mattel’s fault. That is because the store’s corporate offices don’t want to carry it. Mattel doesn’t just ship product to stores the store’s corporate buyers have to order it.

You know how in the United States we have California? What would you say is the UK equivalent of California those of you who live in the UK?

Are they really sought after? Or do you think that because you can’t get them in your country? Because Mickie James was the last to go at the stores that had e58(?) so far and Gable was the Then, Now and Forever figure that sat at WalMarts around her. Is he being released again?

Mickie's figure I don't believe got a release in UK. I ordered it from Wrestling Shop and got a refund after they opened their cases and there was no Mickie's inside.

I mean we've never got a Chad Gable Elite and probably still haven't. I mean in the quantities Smyths order in Mickie would probably sell. But I still don't understand why they would get rid of them two anyway especially when there was a bunch of Berserkers and wrestlers that if anyone knew anything about figures would know they would rot.

Smyths can't cherry pick who they want out of a set. Mattel decides who gets what and that's why we haven't got Mickie or Gable. This isn't the first time something like this has happened either. A few years back the UK didn't get Nash in E16.

What I will say is this has been the worst year for me as a UK collector. Flashbacks are as good as gone and Elite's are becoming impossible to find. I only have one local Smyths beside me and it is only bringing in a few of each Elite set. So far I have missed out on lots of guys because once they're gone they don't come back into stock.
Collecting WWE figures used to be enjoyable and fun but now I might aswell stop.

It’s what happens when collecting a “foreign” product

Since the original post seems to be lacking quite a bit of context, are you saying that cases shipped to the UK are missing James and Gable figures entirely? Or simply that they're hard to find? If the UK is getting a different case configuration than the US, that's definitely newsworthy.
It's possible that this is something asked for by the store, or perhaps these are late run cases where the shorter produced figures have already been packed and shipped. Not all figures are produced in equal quantities.

They don't seem to be here at all, not on Smyths website, (The site that can't be named) I believe had to refund everyone since there cases didn't get anyone.

It’s what happens when collecting a “foreign” product I understand series but figures being cut from Elite series completely? There's something surely off about that? That's only happened 1 I believe with Kevin Nash because he was like 0.5% per case but these guys aren't anywhere in the UK

It does suck, but look, it's an American based company, so they're going to be most available in the U.S. before anywhere else in the world. When WWE was allowing SilverVision in the U.K. release every past WWE PPV without blurring out or censoring the letters WWF, I hated WWE wasn't giving the U.S. fans a chance to buy those, too. I had to pay a lot extra money to get them imported from the U.K., and had to be a PAL DVD player to be able to watch them. So we don't get everything, too.
