Crazy to think the tandem of Cass, Enzo and Mella and the only one who made any real success is Mella.
I don't really feel bad for guys gettibg let go from WWE, they get a good pay check while there and will pick up plenty of work on the Indies if TNA doesn't hire them having come straight from WWE, if they improve they'll likely find themselves back in WWE/NXT

Lets be real...I dont think anyone is showing up in Impact any time soon. You'd make more money and get more fame wrestling at your local flea market. This is wrong. tongue n cheek...but seriously Impact is a shell of TNA

For a 7 foot skinny fat guy. Cass wasn’t believable, green in the ring. His promos sucked for the most part. No loss

I liked him thought he had potential as a bodyguard for Miz but he has no one to blame but himself for being fired. When Your Boss tells you not to do something, you don't do it.

Local commercial just advertised Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass for Extreme Rules, needless to say “card subject to change.”

I'm honestly not that surprised by this. Cass had no character and was just okay in the ring. IMO once they split him and Enzo, Cass was dead in the water. Sure Cass had improved on the mic, but that bar was set awfully low. Enzo whether you loved or hated him, could get attention. He was an entertaining face and an annoying heel. You wanted to see him get punched in the face. Carmella has a great character and she plays her part well. Cass' whole shtick was he was tall. But he wasn't very intimidating for someone 7 ft tall. He had CM Punk's torso on Kevin Nash's legs. All he could do was remind people he was tall. I even made a joke about it on Sunday... It’ll go something like this: I’m 7 feet tall. And guys that are 7 ft tall don’t loose to guys who aren’t 7 ft tall. But even though you got lucky, I’m still 7 ft tall. So I’ll be here, being 7 ft tall in case you want to face someone 7 ft tall. Ps.... I’m 7 ft tall.

It had to have been serious if Vince himself did the deed.

That first NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in 2015 still feels like only yesterday. I was there that night with some buddies and the ovation Enzo & Cass got was INSANE. The crowd ate up everything they said it was unreal how over they were. I'd seen them a few times before that on NXT, but the reaction they got that night caught me off guard. That was the moment I realized that these guys were destined for greatness once they got the inevitable call-up.
They eventually made it up to the main roster and again I felt like these guys were going to be an anchor of the tag division for years to come just because of how over and entertaining they were.
And here we are about two years later and both guys are gone from the company.
For as scripted as pro wrestling is, it isn't as predictable as people think.

I just read that one of the reasons for his relase was "incident on an airplane." No other details were given. Dies anyone know anything about an airplane incident? That's a new one to me.
