Im sure ROH is going to file an injunction.
Best they keep the fight going for the good of the industry. WWE is slowly losing its stranglehold over the industry, this was damage control for them

WWE at Barclays center and ROH at MSG on the same night would be awesome! I live in the NYC area so this would be exciting. I'd choose ROH. Easier for me to get to and I've had my fix of going to NXT(I went to Takeover Brooklyn 1 and 2). Also I haven't been to a ROH show in 5 years.

Very petty move on WWE's part but I'm not surprised as this is Vince we're talking about here. I remember reading at one time he actually thought about putting MSG in his HOF. That's how much that building meant to him.
Still a shame though for over promotions that want to have shows there.

MSG is sacred ground to the WWE. Good for the WWE. You don’t let anyone in your house.

Can the WWE stop UFC from running MSG if they wanted to?

Dick move that they wanted to run a show in the same area at the same time as the WWE's biggest show of the year. Feels a might bit "coat-taily" on ROH's part, and I think people are missing that.
Is Vince petty? Yeah, obviously, but he may very well have been less petty had they had wanted to run their show there in September.

MSG is sacred ground to the WWE. Good for the WWE. You don’t let anyone in your house. Yet they never do tv shows there anymore! This August there doing 4 tv shows in Brooklyn and 0 at MSG. Next year for WM weekend all tv shows will be at Brooklyn and none at MSG. I don't know if you live in the NYC area, but there would be a lot of excitement there if MSG and Barclays ran the same night.

It forces everybody to cultivate and step up their products. It’s best for the fans. Makes me miss the 90s more and more every year. We were really spoiled back then

It’s the house that Bruno built and I am pretty sure Vince Sr used to have his office there. So yeah I can totally see why the WWE wouldn’t want another company performing at what the WWE referred to for years as the “Mecca of Sports Entertainment”. And I am maybe 45 minutes away in Rockland County and wouldn’t care if there was wrestling in both venues. Because if I was going to go to a live event that night it would only be one show. And that would be the WWE.

Well I think it would be awesome for wrestling and NYC if there were 2 big shows in those arenas. I hope ROH sues and just like a former ROH star beat their doctor in court, I hope they win too.

I Mean if you were running a show, who would you rather have? Punishment Martinez or The Undertaker?

I Mean if you were running a show, who would you rather have? Punishment Martinez or The Undertaker? seeing that reminded me of the last time taker wrestled in msg. It was on raw cena/taker vs DX vs jeri-show. I was 8 and had only been watching wrestling about 9 months and cena was (still is) my favorite, DX was my favorite team, and I loved the undertaker. I was so excited for that match, that’s all I could think about the whole week before. I don’t remember much from raw (cause it’s raw, it’s not that big of a deal. Lol) but that’s one match I’ll never forget watching.

Especially in MSG.

And I am maybe 45 minutes away in Rockland County and wouldn’t care if there was wrestling in both venues. Because if I was going to go to a live event that night it would only be one show. And that would be the WWE. It does matter though. WWE and Vince most likely don't give a sh*t about the "legacy" and how "sacred" MSG is. It is simply a business decision. I am not too engaged with the current product, but the WWE/WWF will always be #1 in my eyes and I've been to a number of amazing events at The Garden over the last 20 years. Those are some of my fondest memories. So this isn't sour grapes from an anti-WWE guy. If they really feel so damn warm and fuzzy about their history at MSG how about they start running more events there? The last PPV they hosted was Survivor Series 2011 I'm pretty sure. When was the last Raw? Or Smackdown? Spare me the argument that they run a few throwaway house shows from time to time because everybody gets those. It reminds me of a little kid who has a toy he doesn't play with, but as soon as someone else picks it up he kicks and screams it's his favorite and nobody else can touch it. I get why they don't do Wrestlemania anymore there. The event has outgrown MSG in terms of capacity. However, you're telling me they can't do NXT there or the HOF or maybe the Raw/Smackdown afterwards? They have been neglecting that place for years now. I understand it costs more to run TV tapings and PPVs, but again if WWE feels as sincerely about MSG as they're making it out to be, you'd think they'd bite the financial bullet once in a while and put on a big show in the place that put them on the map.
