One of my favorites. RIP. Such a shame WWE did not get him into the HOF while he was with us. He will be in mine.

R.I.P. Vader. Loved watching clips of him in WCW from 93. One of the greatest big men in wrestling history.

He was certainly an innovator. He and Bam Bam Bigelow could wow audiences with their athleticism for 2 guys their size. But Vader also had that monster brutal streak that sat him apart from everyone. I'm saddened by his passing as he was another one of those larger than life personalities from my youth. And even with his health problems of late, he seemed like he could have beaten even those odds. Obviously the heartbreak of him not being inducted into the HoF while he was with us, is unfortunate. But its a garauntee that anyone who saw him perform during his hey day in the business, will NEVER forget him. Rest easy big man....you've earned it.

RIP. Definately a pioneer for the athletic big man. Loved his matches. Wish WWE had done more with him in the attitude era.

I think I might be one of the few here that will say so. But I enjoy his matches with Undertaker. They were well worked IMO and I was excited for those matches on PPV the two times they happened. I also liked the Mankind team up. The Kane feud...even though it was evident he was going to lose...was something I looked forward to as well. I was actually there live for SummerSlam 1996 for him and Shawn. Basically what I'm trying to say is I enjoyed his WWF career as well and thought it was successful as well.

As always, WWE did an amazing job on the tribute video.
True story, I almost stopped watching wrestling because of Vader. I was so fed up with him defeating Sting I couldn't take it anymore. I was infuriated and swore it off for good. But I still watched the next week. And the week after.

Can’t say I was a fan or that I ever went out of my way to watch his matches but I always loved this lol: RIP 🖖🏽 That awful music in the background gets me everytime I see this. It really makes the threats of violence and the host's fear pop.
