Not much to this one. Could be good, but my expectations are fairly low.
Rollins/Ziggler will be great, and should probably main event, but I'm guessing Lashley/Reigns gets that spot, and the crowd turns on it hard.

Even though I'm sure the PPV won't be anything all that special (aside from a few select matches), what do you think will happen? My predictions:
-Sanity def. New Day (Sanity is new to the main roster, so they need a win over an established team on PPV)
-Balor def. Corbin (Balor hasn't been booked right IMO. To me he needs the win)
-Wyatt and Hardy def. B-Team (the B-Team have been winning a lot as of late, so that pretty much means they're losing at the PPV. Besides, Bray and Matt should drop the titles to AOP)
-Asuka def. Carmella (Asuka should carry the title into Summerslam against either Becky or Charlotte. Carmella isn't that good of a champion IMO)
-Alexa def. Nia (They probably want to have Bliss fight Ronda at Summerslam, so it makes sense for Alexa to win this. Will it be clean? Probably not)
-Bludgeon Brothers def. Hell No (Kane will probably turn on D-Bry)
-Ziggler def. Rollins (It'll most likely be a tied score, until McIntyre probably interferes, thus costing Rollins)
-Hardy def. Nakamura (Jeff should carry the title into Summerslam, and drop it to Almas. Nakamura could feud with Orton afterwards too)
-Owens escapes Strowman (Owens needs a PPV win. He's lost every PPV this year, and he could win by escaping the cage. Strowman will be fine. He's a future Universal Champion)
-Reigns def. Lashley (because DA BIG DAWG has to look strong )
-Styles def. Rusev (even though I'd love if Rusev won, I don't see it happening)

I don't see any titles changing hands here. This whole event reeks of padding out time until Summerslam.

Miz will cost Kane/Bryan.
I'd almost be willing to bet that Ambrose returns to either cost Rollins, or attack him in a post match celebration.

I see Rusev beating AJ Styles in the main event... by DQ... as Nakamura comes to ringside, distracting Styles, and when Styles doesn't get pinned, Shinsuke comes into the ring, and low blows Rusev. This would lead to a triple threat match at Summerslam.

I really don't understand why this is a twelve match card.

They SHOULD main event, especially since it's the only Raw men's singles title being defended. I'm so tired of Reigns getting the spotlight

Probably the least excited I’ve been for a PPV. I’m looking forward to Rollins and Ziggler. I’m sure they’ll tear the house down. It would be wise to open the show with it.
But I think they should do away with this PPV. It was fine for a while but they’ve got even more restrictive when it comes to weapons and all that kind of stuff. Should have just left the July PPV as Battleground. Hopefully things ramp back up with the build to Summerslam approaching and we get a clear idea what’s going on with Brock and the Universal Title.

Hogan has been spotted at the airport in Cleveland(which isn’t too far from Pitts.)
Rumors are starting that he flew in because be is returning.

I love how one of the 5 stipulation matches isn’t even on the main card

Going to this tonight. First time I've been to one of these extended regular PPVs. I'm hoping I don't fade halfway through. 12 matches makes for a long night.

what the is this company doing? a PPV event called "Extreme Rules" with 12 ing matches, and almost none of them are "extreme", on top of that the only extreme element is 1 steel cage match with zero purpose other than saying its on the extreme rules ppv this show is gonna go like 6 hours, smh

Does anyone think this show has the potential to be extremely good?

More then likely another terrible show tonight but theirs a few matches that are interesting to me in Reigns/Lashley,Hardy/Nakamura,Ziggler/Rollins and Alams/Sin Cara.Problem is that the dream match between Hardy & Nakamura seems rushed and the fact that Nakamura hasn't been good at all in terms of his in ring work since his debut in WWE baring a few matches and his debut and also it seems like all of the bumps and father time are finally catching up to Jeff Hardy who's a shell of himself. So that match probably won't live up to the hype also Ziggler/Rollins which should be good has a terrible stipulation on it with the 30 minute iron man match,I hate those as it should always be a hour long and the fact that a gimmick like that kind of kills the drama of when a match can end.
So really think that it boils down to Reigns/Lashley to save the show and for Almas/Sin Cara(which should be on the main card) to get the show off to a great start. If these match don't deliver big this more then likely will go down as another bad PPV for 2018 which in terms of the main roster shows is probably the worst year of PPV's in twenty or so years.

Worst year of Pay-Per-Views in 20 years? What are you even talking about?
