Last night I watched the full 3 hour Lex Express gem on the Network and I gotta say I enjoyed it. Found it funny when the helicopter was landing the fans were chanting ''Hogan''. Overall though must watch for fans of the era.
Makes you wonder how much hidden stuff they have in their vault that has yet to see the light of day.

Lex was pretty damn strong back then, but I think I remember him saying that the boots he wore that day gave him some issues as they had no traction. He was slipping and sliding on the canvas worried that he wouldn't be able to turn him over on the slam which is maybe why Yoko went the extra effort to make himself as light as possible.
I'll always love Bobby's frantic commentary during their Summerslam match when Lex slammed him again. "Hiplock. Hiplock. HIPLOCK!!!" 😂
I remember that summer. With my asthma, the doc told us I couldn't go to FL that year for vacation. So my mom hung back with me as my dad and sister went on ahead. We were trying to think of things to do and places to go within the NY/NJ/CT area. I asked if we could see the Intrepid that weekend. When asked why, I realized I couldn't sell the idea of going to a 'Sort of/not quite' wrestling show. We visited some cousins in Maryland instead.
The whole challenge even intrigued my sister, who didn't care for wrestling too much. When I talked to her later, she immediately asked which sports star slammed Yoko. I explained that Lex Luger did it and he was a good guy now. We were both disappointed.
I missed the Narcissist. Even as a 12-13 year old, I found the character hilarious, especially with how smug he was.
Basically his narcissist gimmick was failing rapidly, so WWE took Lex off TV around late May/early June 1993, and repackaged him as an American super hero in July (basically the new version of Hulk Hogan).
