He's not going anywhere. He just put in an order for some new gear and said he had to be specific colors because "Thats all WWE will let him wear" You dont spend money on company specific attire if you're leaving in a couple months. Uh he's worn the same colors since 2004 barring one feud with Homicide, the all wwe will let me wear line is hilarious. There's also the amount of dates he works so he's not wearing the same gear every night until 9/1 when his deal expires. Im pretty sure I would know more about this then you would but fine...He was specifically asked about the color for his new gear because a previous set was made for him in Seahawks Blue/Green (for his Wrestlemania return, which WWE nixed). In which he responded as above. Bryan has worn shades of Maroon most his career as well as blue but he's also wanting to change his look and WWE isnt allowing it. His new gear is obviously maroon, silver & white (on black). Once it debuts I can give more details on the color scheme.

I think it boils down to the fact that nobody knows nothing and everyone is only guessing. And that includes Meltzer. All I do know is Bryan has said that he was most likely going to be staying. So I'm going to stick with that till I hear something more concrete.

I've also worked with Bryan for years and was fortunate enough to train under him for a while at the ROH school. He began the maroon as a tribute to William Regal, and never stopped, that was his color or as he told us his Taz orange. Bottom line is, he's not in touch with most of us regularly but he has definitely not signed anything and is an over packer of gear. Even on the indies he'd rarely wear the same set of trunks back to back.

A mere 19 days away from his deal expiring, no extension has been agreed to. That's the latest.

I don't think wwe will use him like they did from 2013-15 again. Plus I want to see the American Dragon again. I think deep down he wants to go back to the Indies.

Bryan gave them the ultimatum: cleared by Wrestlemania or he lets his contract expire and he goes to wrestle somewhere else. At the 11th hour they cleared him. I wonder if he’s going to make them wait until the the last minute to sign?
Or maybe he really is going to leave? Maybe that’s why his program with the Miz is happening now. If Miz goes over clean, that could be WWE’s typical send off.
Guess we’ll find out soon enough. I am a bit surprised with how quiet this whole story has been on the sheets.

I doubt he's going anywhere but so what if he did? His flame has ran out, he's not white hot anymore and he'll just be another indie guy like the rest of them. People aren't going to just turn off WWE and find ways to watch other programs just because Dbry is on them. He's not John Cena, The Rock, Undertaker, etc. Hell I'm a huge Jericho mark and I haven't bothered to watch a single thing he's done since being in Japan aside one match. I just don't care enough to keep up with the other promotion.

Bryan has to sign a new deal at the last minute imo. Too much money to be left on the table plus I easily see him winning the Rumble and main eventing WM next year against Reigns or Styles.

If he really hasn’t signed yet he’s probably just pushing for the best possible deal he can get. I don’t see him going anywhere.

And to add to the speculation, I just received the presale email for Smackdown’s 1000th episode, and Bryan vs Miz is part of the triple main event. I know the card is subject to change, but putting him in the graphic this late is telling.

New Japan and ROH just sold out MSG, Cody and the Bucks sold 10k tickets in 30 minutes, and the wrestling product away from WWE is doing extremely well. Bryan is inarguably one of the most popular indie wrestlers of all time. It would be a huge deal for him to return to that world right now. It would be better for wrestling as a whole imo.

I may have missed someone mention this but they just announced the other day that WWE 2K19’s Showcase mode will revolve around Bryan’s career. Would be kinda weird to invest all that time and money and focus into a guy if there’s a chance he could be leaving and going to the competition soon.

Games are done almost six to eight months before releasing. Has nothing to do with his contract. Same can be said for announcing him for shows in October. 16 days out, no ink on paper.
