Plenty of people would follow him wherever he goes. New Japan and ROH just sold out MSG, Cody and the Bucks sold 10k tickets in 30 minutes, and the wrestling product away from WWE is doing extremely well. Bryan is inarguably one of the most popular indie wrestlers of all time. It would be a huge deal for him to return to that world right now. It would be better for wrestling as a whole imo. what a mark. Calling someone a mark is ridiculous. If anything, and I don't advocate using that term negatively the guy who is the mark is the one who ignores people once they jump outside the WWE bubble. There's a whole world out there. Closing down your interest just shows you're not a devoted fan of the wrestler but of WWE the brand.

I may have missed someone mention this but they just announced the other day that WWE 2K19’s Showcase mode will revolve around Bryan’s career. Would be kinda weird to invest all that time and money and focus into a guy if there’s a chance he could be leaving and going to the competition soon. Games are done almost six to eight months before releasing. Has nothing to do with his contract. Same can be said for announcing him for shows in October. 16 days out, no ink on paper. That’s my point though. They know when his deal is up and what the lead times are for the games. I don’t see WWE taking that big of a risk on a guy they’re not sure will be there by the time the game comes out.

Yeah the game showcase was made months ago, but just last week Bryan filmed a project in his high school gym for the game. The debut for it is supposed to be sometime this week. link

Just remember, a lot of the video game stuff is done as a sweatener financially because they no longer give out royalties for PPV/Network specials. It's also written by someone like Paul Heyman who puts the story mode of the game together(although no idea if he did this year's game). In the end, Bryan does probably stay but he's never been a guy to care about this type of stuff. I remember when he got his first cell phone and how much of a pain in the ass he was about that. In many ways he thought the cell phone was a bit of a stumble.

Way to add to the thread. This is the type of fan who is responsible for WWE's complacency. As for adding to the thread in an intelligent manner, www.f4wonline.com/wwe-news/daniel-bryan-90-plus-percent-chance-ill-re-sign-wwe-263936This was from an interview taped 8/6. Nothing has changed since. In fact I talked to someone this morning, who has worked with Bryan recently on house shows and he said and this is a direct quote "He's still not sure what he wants to do but if it comes down to happy wife happy life, he's staying here. Why do you think I signed here? You know my wife, NAME REDACTED spends money like there's an everlasting supply."

Exactly, can we please get this thread locked already? I'm only leaving it open because I was hoping some real news would come out. Instead it's just been speculation and hearsay. But we'll start a new thread when that time comes, I suppose.
