Speaking of knockoffs, Hogan is a Billy Graham knockoff. Hogan was that and more obviously, we know what part hogan played..
..Graham is underrated. If it weren’t for Superstar then Bruno would still be champ

I know! Why get a lousy Greg Valentine when we can get a TRUE draw like Noam Dar or Drew Gulak! Yeah, I'll take a Noam Dar and Drew Gulak ten times over a Greg Valentine. Who'd they ever beat?

I would definitely buy a figure of him. Really only one is needed, but he is needed if you want your 80s guys.

Greg Valentine's not even the best Ric Flair knockoff, I don't understand why people here want a figure of him to be produced so badly. Maybe about 200 people will get him, and then what? He'll warm store shelves for the next two years until they finally just put them in a bargain bin or stuff them in the back with the rest of the figures that don't sell. The only person I've seen so far in this thread that I'd want a figure of is Haku, and that's only because if I pass on it the figure might come to life and gauge my eyes out. You're right (mainly cause he's not a Flair knockoff) but once we get Valentine in our collection we'll be happy to jump on the Buddy Landel bandwagon to get him made into figure form. Enjoy trying to get your basic style Noam Dar to do some flippity floppity hurimoonsault splash with those statuesque basic limbs. Yes, Noam Dar is a cruiserweight, so therefore he does nothing but flips. Please, feel free to watch him and then you'll see he barely flips if ever before you venture further into "Old Man Yells at Cloud" status. I don't even collect Basics, hell, I barely even collect Elites. The last elite I got was the TNF Bigelow, like 2-3 years ago. I'd just rather see people who wrestled in this century get figures.

Technically he has. So you just admitted you wanted a Valentine.

Then again, Greg Valentine wrestled at a backyard wrestling show, too.

Not only is Valentine NOTHING like flair (Rick Rude wore a robe too, must be a flair knockoff?), but you do realize that Ric Flair's entire gimmick is just a knock off of someone elses right? Down to the nick name and everything.

Well, he wrestled in this century.

I’d most likely even preorder.

Flair and Rogers had a match in the 70s to determine the real nature boy, Ric won and was allowed to use the gimmick. But he still "stole" from Buddy Rogers before the match. Even so, most of wrestling is borrowed or stolen at some point. Arn Anderson isn't really an Anderson, he was made one to look like he could team with Ole. Ricky Steamboat was given the name Steamboat to kind of get the rub from a very popular older wrestler Sam Steamboat - if i remember correctly. Hell, the Rockers are a rip off of the Rock n' Roll Express. But didn't Valentine always look that way, from the start of his career. And wasn't that before Flair became the Nature Boy. Flair started out differently. And, even Flair has stated that he wanted to be Ramblin' Ricky Rhodes and copy Dusty Rhodes but Rhodes wouldn't allow it because he thought Flair was good enough to make it on his own merit. Plus the promoters at the time really like the name Flair.

The fact some people on here want some of those goofy cruiserweights over a legend like Greg "The Hammer" Valentine makes me sad

Give me the guy sooooo far down the current roster before a legend makes me sad. Former tag and ic champ back when belts didn’t flip every week and appeared on how many wrestlemanias? No contest for me.

The fact some people on here want some of those goofy cruiserweights over a legend like Greg "The Hammer" Valentine makes me sad You want what you want. If you’re into the current product then I can see the desire for a complete roster. Wanting Gulak or Dar is no different than legends collectors wanting Red Rooster or Dan Spivey.

This is just another old vs current discussion again. Once Greg is made old heads are gonna find another old legend who will probably rot on shelves to complain about.
