This is just another old vs current discussion again. Once Greg is made old heads are gonna find another old legend who will probably rot on shelves to complain about. I dunno, there aren't many highly successful legends left. Graham, Backlund, Valentine.

The fact some people on here want some of those goofy cruiserweights over a legend like Greg "The Hammer" Valentine makes me sad Yeah, Even though i watch today's main roster programs (Raw, Smackdown), I would not want any of the cruiserweights. I can't name many people (fellow WWE fans) i know who watch 205.

The Hammer gimmick is definitely the version I would buy.

Just remembered another Valentine I’d want over R&B. Him with “I Broke Wahoo’s Leg” shirt

Greg Valentine is definitely from my era, but I just don't see him doing that well with the kids and casuals.
There are a lot of '80s Legends I'd rather have first who would probably sell better - Koko B. Ware, Nikita Koloff with chain, the Rock n' Roll Express, Abdullah the Butcher, Stan Hansen, Mr. Fuji, Jim Cornette, and the Great Muta, just to name a handful.

I could use all those, too. Great List. Probably the only one I wouldn't get would be Adrian Adonis, he was a bit before my time. Only way I think I would get him is if he came in a 2-pack with Jesse Ventura, the East-West Connection from AWA. An Earl Hebner or Joey Marella referee figure would be cool - could work as a build-a-figure with either your managers list or announcers list.

1 week away from Comic-Con hopefully the Hammer makes it into the line. I watch 205 Live Gulak is probably one of the better guys on that show. He's in the category like the Hammer a solid wrestler who can go.

This is just another old vs current discussion again. Once Greg is made old heads are gonna find another old legend who will probably rot on shelves to complain about. Theyre going to start demanding figures of Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt and Ed Strangler Lewis.

I became a wrestling fan in 1985 You’ve really never heard of them? That seems like a really long time to be a wrestling fan without ever hearing those names. Not that I know anything about them other than they’re names, but I’ve heard them plenty of times over the years.

I became a wrestling fan in 1985 They're real. Early 1900s, never gonna be made into figures though. The funny part is the people whos argument against guys like Valentine being "too long ago" yet they want some irrelevant schmuck like Val Venis...They dont realize there's only like 4 years difference from the time one was in the ring to the other. They act like you can only watch footage of Valentine through 8mm reel to reel tapes.
