I only got into collecting Elites a couple of years ago but I've pretty much gotten all of the flashbacks out there that weren't insanely expensive. I can't understand why TPTB keep releasing the same current roster guys over and over again. That would turn me off if I was collector of the current roster. It also seems like the basics have declines in quality. I wish they'd start making better flashback choices in general so yes, my interest is waning. BUT if they release a proper surfer Sting in series 62? -- I will be absolutely elated.

I hadn’t made a figure related purchase in six months until I looked through my collection the other day and realised how much I enjoy collecting, so I’m back to being interested! But I lost interest for half a year.

Anyone else seem to be losing interest in the lines? I am a flashback guy so maybe it’s different because we don’t have as much coming?i haven’t even picked anything up since the Walmart Elites hit. Nothing really interests me and when I do find newer stuff, I have passed on it. I hate seeing stuff I paid full price for half price and under so maybe that’s one reason. Maybe I am tired of the repaints? I. Don’t know what it is but I just haven’t really been excited about collecting lately. Hoping SDCC changes that.Anyone else in the same boat? I'm the same way. I am a MOC Flashback collector, along with AJ and Balor. Once they removed the flashback nomenclature from the new packaging and now have all these special Flashback lines at Target and the Then Now and Forever, it's a bit overwhelming to try and get everything. I liked it when Flashbacks were limited to 1 or 2 per series of Elites only.

I think there’s too many repaints and not enough new faces more than anything. I think one sub set of legends/flashbacks would be good

I live in the UK. Not only do we not get exclusive lines (which feature flashbacks - my main interest) Mattel have started dropping figures from the main elite line. We didn't get Mickie James or Chad Gable and we won't be getting Elias. but it's OK - We're getting another New Day set to rot on shelves but no Elias. I paid £35 for mean gene and £35 for Virgil. The average asking price for Fan Central Mark Henry is £40 online. We never got a sniff of HOF series 4. I'll never find alundra blaze for less than £40.
Hell yes I'm losing interest.

I’m pretty much done. Packed away the display, the ring , my stage. Will still pick up an occasional figure like angle, Hart, Jericho, hbk. I really blame wwe more than Mattel. I don’t watch or follow the product at all.
The kids and I have moved onto Marvel. And I like that product much better.

I find it a chore nowadays to find and buy these figures. It's mostly because the current tv product blows chunks but Bill still does a good job on elites. The basics still suck and don't buy those any more. I use to buy JUST as many basics as in I did elites and now I've only bought 2 since the inferior articulation was introduced. Honestly, I cant wait till Mattel loses the license cause I'm completely done with wrestling figures after them.

I wouldn't say I was losing interest. I would consider it to have deteriorated over time. Not because of today's product but simply the reasons mentioned above. Terrible distribution. US exclusives are one thing but ommitting a figure completely from an already minmalistic series because they can't be arsed getting it in is indeed a whole other problem.

Seriously whoever decided to remove Elias instead of Kofi or Xavier needs an rko outta somewhere.

I wouldn't say I'm losing interest but I am started to get more picky on what I pick up. Mainly because I'm running out of room but also due to the lack of funds.
I keep most of my figures in the box and I'm out of room for them. So I'm trying to stick to my absolute favorites and even some of them I'm passing on. Like Summer Slam Elite Edge I passed on because I don't like the way the figure looks in the box at all.

As an Australian who exclusively collects legends, the decision was essentially made for me. I have purchased one figure in the last six months (WM9 Brutus) because it's the only one of interest that has been available.

I can't understand why TPTB keep releasing the same current roster guys over and over again. Because the current roster is current, so that’s what people know. And there are new fans buying their first wrestling dolls every day. The seventh elite of Roman Reigns or AJ Styles is the first elite to a kid who has never bought a wrestling doll before, and that kid is gonna want one of the stars rather than Titus O’Neil or Mojo Rawley.

I'm in the same boat. Have been for a while now. Haven't bought a single figure for awhile and before I hadn't got one for 6 months. I like the cool looks and characters but it's no longer exciting. As already mentioned distribution in the UK is awful to get no Mickie, Elias and Gable and I mostly collect current talent. I wouldn't sell off my collection but it's all beginning to feel like a waste of money, especially with the rapid growing prices. I've done it with all my collections in general but I'm at the stage where it's too much money and no passion, I may buy some more lego but the wwe figures seem to be a thing of the past again. I'd probably be lying if I said I will never buy another figure but at this point I get it look at it and just think was £20 worth it. I may stay collecting lego. But recently I've been thinking about collecting stuff from my childhood instead like Lord of the Rings figures. There just isn't anything for in the Mattel WWE line to make me want to keep on collecting.

I have too many figures to stop now..
I'm too financially invested & too lazy to goto the hassle of listing literally 100s of figures so I must continue,
I believe it's called entrapment...

Over the years, i've definitely lost interest. I started in 2007 and wrestling figures were my life all the way until early 2012, i packed up my setup for renovations and just never set it back up after. Only bought about 4 figures from then up to late 2016 when i got back into it again.
Now i'm only really interested in 2006/2007 attires, as well as some current guys.
