Just my opinion,
But I feel like people are so overly critical of everything in the world today. Could movies be better? Sure. Could the government be better? Sure. So on and so forth. Wrestling is no different.
I reached a point in the late 2000s where I just stopped taking wrestling so literally. I also think age has a lot to do with it. As I've become older, I've mellowed out quite a bit. I still love wrestling with all of my heart. So much so that it will be included in minor details with my wedding in a few weeks. But no, I'm not going to throw a fit about the Brock title reign, or the Roman push. Could wrestling be better? Absolutely. But is it going to kill my morale? No. I take it for what it is.

Yeah I hardly watch any of the product now. But tbh I stopped watching from around 2004-2012 and got back into it by an old friend asking me round to watch wm28. I watch wrestlemania and rumble but apart from that I just check to see some results of the main matches.
The product is terrible let's be honest. From the awful storylines or lack of, the atrocious commentary, the matches we see repeated week in week out and then on ppv, the camera zooming in and out and the company treating every week like It's the first time a viewer has ever watched.

In my opinion wwe currently has the most talented roster they have ever had but also the worst writers they have ever had. The storylines are just trash This is a pretty spot on statement. In terms of pure in ring talent that can go from bell to bell its by far the most talent but again the talent is held back by the terrible writing and also the brand split. The brand split has really water down both shows and we continue to see the same matches weeks after weeks that in turn also hurt the PPV.Just look at RAW lately having Reigns/Lashley Vs The Revival three straight weeks in a row and on Smackdown how many times have we seen Styles Vs Nakamura. Been a die hard fan since '99 but this is the least interested I've been in the product and can rarely make it through a whole episode of RAW or Smackdown, usual flip during both and tune out the last hour of RAW. I really think the product would be so much better if RAW was cut back to two hours, the brand split ended, the dead weight on the roster was cut(could go back to jobber matches if you need to get stars on weekly TV and wins before big match ups) and a total overhaul in terms of their writing staff. NXT is a great product unlike the main shows but is hurt with the pre taping for the weekly shows besides that it damn near perfect and really the model that the main shows should follow. I still hold on and have hope that once Triple H gains even more power that the over all product will greatly improve.

Yeah I would be all for jobber matches every week if it meant they would hold off big matches for a ppv. No PPV to me even seems special anymore including Wrestlemania. As good as dolph and Rollins matches are by the time we see them at the ppv Sunday it’ll be like their 3rd or 4th time wrestling in a month.

While I agree it's far from perfect, I don't think it's nearly as bad as some are acting. In my opinion, wrestling always has had moments I enjoy and moments where I space out. For me, it's always been that way. From the beginning of RAW, through the Attitude Era, to the current roster. There's always someone I wished was used better. There's always a storyline that ended differently than I would have liked. There's always someone on top that annoys me. There's always something or someone I have no interest in watching.
So while I may be bored s**tless over Deleters of Worlds vs The B-Team, I can still find parts that I enjoy watching. While I'm sick of Brock being champion, I still get excited knowing wrestling is on. To me, wrestling is the escape from the mundane. So even if I only enjoyed 40% of WWE this week, that still 40% I appreciate. But people nowadays have a "Chicken Little" complex. All they want to do is run from the hilltops to cry that they sky is falling. It's the same way in the Mattel board now and just about everywhere else anymore.
My advice? You take the good, you take the bad, you take em both, and there... you'll have the facts of life.

I first stopped watching wrestling around 93, when Bret was on top, which was a low that I never thought I would see again. nWo brought me back, and I went back back to WWF in maybe late 99- early 00 when WCW started getting awful. There were some pretty dark days between 04 and 08, with diamonds like Edge, Angle, HBK, and Eddie mixed in, but still not as bad as 95....Then Punk was on top and it was worse than 95. I was OUT! Punk leaving brought me back, and I've been back ever since...although currently I feel like we're around the 04-08 doldrums again with a few bright spots (AJ, Rollins, Strowman, some others, and to a lesser extent NXT). The overall direction is boring, with the same two people on top (Brock and Roman to 04-08's HHH and Cena) I've taken to watching Attitude Era Raws (which I never used to like), and loving them in comparison. Nothing can touch the 80's, but just watching Attitude Era Raws shows me how far the product has fallen and how little most of the guys have to do these days. They weren't all great, or even good stories, but at least there were real stories, not forced garbage between Lashley and Roland or 3 months of d!ck shots between AJ and Nakamura. Not to sound cliche, but a big part of it is the PG/PC Era mixed with all of the transparent marketing bull$#!t under the guise of a social conscience. Wrestling isn't wrestling anymore, and it hasn't been for a long time. Sports entertainment has no soul, and no balls. THAT is the problem.

Honestly Vince has lost touch. The writing is atrocious, I mean you can tell these are non wrestling people, and the road agents like Roaddogg you can tell don’t measure up. The talent is there, the production values are there, but the creative is terrible. Also the announcing is down right disgusting. Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman actually take away from the product, I mean they seriously bring down any segment, even the rare decent segment.
Luckily, NXT is really good, and we have RoH and NJPW just tearing it up and growing. I would love for WWE to shed some weight and allow these guys to help RoH/NJPW.

Im not as interested in WWE as I once was. RAW is mostly awful, wouldnt watch it at all if it werent for Elias. Smackdown is hit or miss, I watch it to see what they arent doing with Tye Dillinger. NXT is still great, watch it all the time.

I havent watched a full episode of Raw/SD since shortly after Daniel Bryan retired. I think Seth was WWE champion around that time? WWE has completely lost me. IDK if its my age, Im going to be 28 in 2 months. Priorities have changed and i no longer care to spend my time watching a product that they clearly put little effort into.

Every era of wrestling, even whatever you personally consider to be the golden one, has ups and downs. People praise the Attitude Era to death, but for everything good that happened there, we got at least two that were garbage. Same goes for the 80s, 00s, and 10s. Other than Raw, I think WWE TV has been great this year. Smackdown has rebounded from a dire 2017 since Mania, 205 Live has been absolutely outstanding, and NXT is the best its ever been.

When you have the incredibly talented roster that you have and still put on a bland show and still put the wrong guys in the wrong positions, I lose interest.

Yes, the fans are as unhappy as ever before, but it doesn't make sense because as a whole, this is probably the most talented roster in history and the match quality is as good as it's ever been.
What is there to be unhappy with? Unless way too many people have come down with the "This company sucks if my personal favorites aren't winning" syndrome.....WWE is pretty good now.
The only thing I have an issue with is Brock being an absentee Champion...but WWE is actually the culprit behind that for the purposes of making Brock Lesnar look like he wants to leave WWE without ever losing the Title.
Other than that, WWE is a-ok in my book.

Ok so I’m almost 30, been a die hard WWE fan since I was a child. WWE has always been my main obsession, and I’d say I loved it all the way until probably around WrestleMania 32 (and I’m a Reigns fan so figure that one out lol) But ever since Mania 32 I’ve become more and more uninterested in keeping up with the weekly shows, PPV barely even feels special any more, and Raw seems like one big commercial for the network and wwe shop anymore. Is it just me? I mean are they’re still fans right now that are in love with the WWE? Because lately I feel like WWE is someone I once loved more than anything, and now I can’t even look them in the eye lol. i was on the same boat with you. i've been a fan and watching it for years! i actually stopped watching weekly shows and just started watching PPV's. the problem is even the PPV's suck. Extreme Rules was the worst IMO. the only show thats worth a damn is NXT
