Why would anyone honestly expect anything Hogan related this week? Lets use some common sense here. Earliest we're going to see anything AT BEST is Ringside Fest.

Ha yeah the q&a should be crap as usual, i can see it now Q&A always awful. Should we expect 4 more worthless Ambrose elits? Likely. Chances of 8 more Fin in demon getup? Expect it to happen. Where's my Dino Bravo figure I've asked in the Q&A every year? Skip What color will Ambrose pants be?

Am I mistaken or didn't they only say that he was reinstated in the HOF? Its definitely a positive sign but it doesn't mean he is back with the company. If we start seeing shirts on the WWE Shop, then that will be the time to start getting excited. Also, even if he does sign a legends deal, Mattel still may want to continue to distance themselves.

I'm pretty hapy with the Storm figures. I don't understand the hype over a Hollywood figure considering Storm made two versions of Hollywood Hogan that Mattel won't be able to match. Should have just bought those if you wanted one. I'll be passing on the terrible plastic boas and rubber shirt a Mattel Hogan will undoubtedly come with. Some of the most disappointing figures by Mattel are Hogans due to the plastics goods. Maybe in the DM line Mattel can actually make a cloth goods Hogan.

I’m a Mattel fam, not a storm collectibles fan. Bring it on Mattel.

I appreciate the effort on the actual feathery boas from Storm but they're too big and conceal most of the figure. I'll actually be using the plastic ones for the the storm figs when they arrive.

As long as Mattel’s doesn’t have that ugly stupid free floating cod piece that the Storm figures have it will be matched. Whoever designed that free floating cod piece should never be allowed to design anything again. The only design I hated more that that was when Toy Biz Made articulated fingers. (And of course Mattel’s first Elite Fandango’s torso.)

Reading through this thread... some of these guys have a lot of unrealistic expectations for SDCC and might be dissatisfied with the lack of Hogan figures. Unless Mattel knew months in advance of his reinstatement, or decides to show old figure renders from the past, there won't be anything in regards to Hogan. It takes a lot longer than 3-4 days to develop and produce a figure.... I think we would be lucky to see a Hogan prototype this year. Hell, we will be lucky to get another Hogan figure from Mattel in general if Mattel is not comfortable with making a Hulk Hogan figure... although they have made many questionable guys in the past who had drug problems, beat their wives, murdered, etc....

I could see them pulling out the DM Hollywood Hogan proto for it only if Bill first gets the OK from the WWE and his bosses. Which I am sure he wouldn’t even contact either until tomorrow at the earliest.
