(I'm designing some universal action figure stands, that will hopefully work with figures between 3.75in and 7in., and I need to collect as much info about different figures as I can.)
I have some Elites and some female Basics, but don't have any male Basic figs.
•Do the male Basics have holes in the feet too? •If they do, are they the same size as the Elite holes? •What's the width and depth of the hole in millimeters? •What position are they in? (heel, ball, or middle of the foot)
To make it easy, if you have a LEGO rod (3.18mm) or a 1/8th drillbit, let me know if that fits snugly into the hole, it's too loose, or it won't go in at all.
I have a oval WWE Elite stand, as well as a square one that came with Asuka to use as reference if we need to.
Hope you can help, thanks in advance for any info.

They’re all the same except some women in heels don’t have them

They’re all the same except some women in heels don’t have them That's what I was hoping except my research shows the male Elite holes are smaller than the female Basics. I have a Stone Cold Elite that even has different shape holes for each foot lol. To further complicate things, some holes look round but turn into hexagons below the surface. That's why it's important to measure. Are the male Basic holes the same as female Basics or male Elites?

They all fit on the oval stands Mattel made in 2010 so if you make them out of plastic it won’t matter

I'm designing the stands to be universal so I'm relying on you peeps to provide info so I can make them compatible with as many figs as possible. I can't just eyeball this stuff or assume anything "doesn't matter". Thanks for the info, I'll try to size for Basic males when I get more info. This seems like a question for Snitsky How do I summon them, and what do they do? Are they a genie with a ruler?, because that would be perfect! lol

Dont you have any figures to check? Like I said in the first post, no. I don't have Basic males to check.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, but you may just want to run out to the store and spend $10 to pick up a basic. With the level of detail and specificity (down to mms) I think you'd be much better served investing the money and taking your own measurements than trusting a stranger on the internet if the margin for error is as small as you say.

That's probably the best thing to do (I did that with other toy lines), I was just hoping to get the community involved, and maybe even gauge interest in universal stands.

I have ringside stands. I have basics, elites and females on them. They all stand. That's as universal as I'll ever have use for.

They aren't only for wrestling figs, I'm designing them for ALL figs. That's why they're universal. You don't need a dozen different stands for each manufacturer, just these.
If there's little interest in using them for wrestling figs, it's fine, but I'd like the option to still be there for anyone who does want to use them.

how can they be universal if each peg hole is different based on the line (set) or company you need them for? no matter what info you gather, wont the peg be to big or to small for any given figure depending on the size or set from any various company?
I would think for a stand to be universal every company would have to be drilling the same size hole in the foot to make that work
please explain if im wrong...

It uses a peg that compresses to fit a wide range of holes. I'd post a link but it would advertising. I already made a prototype and it works.
I just wish I had a larger pool of different figures to experiment with, but I cant be buying a ton of toys obviously. Which is why I'm relying on the toy community to help me out.
