I heard he came out to Slow Chemical for his speech after he won.
Best. Mayor. Ever.

This isn’t nearly as big of news as the return of the now titled Big CAZZ on the independent scene!

Good on him. I don't agree with his politics, but he saw something, was passionate about changing it, and is gonna do it. More power to him.

So split on this one. On one hand I’m thrilled for the guy because he’s achieving his long standing aspirations and making a positive impact on peoples lives beyond wrestling. On the other hand, it’s a sad time because it all but confirms the end of one of the longest and most consistent tenures in wwe history. Hopefully he will continue to make the odd sporadic appearance.

Obviously, there's the time constraint, but as far as his involvement with WWE, he landed in the political scene at a much more opportunistic time than, say, Jesse Ventura. The silver lining of a more sanitized product is that sporadic appearances on his part will, even in a more toxic political climate, be derided way less than something like Ventura's SummerSlam one-off was.
The fact that he was front and center just ahead of election night leads me to believe that time will be his one real obstacle.

I'm so disappointed to discover that one of my childhood favourites stands for so much I'm against.
Congratulations to him on achieving his dream, though.

Good for Kane (err Mayor Jacobs)! God that sounds so weird lol
Nice to see a celebrity who’s into politics and isn’t a complete dunce. Rare commodity in this day and age.
