I want the JJ Dillon figure. I think it looks good, and it's a figure I never thought we'd be getting.
My Walmarts are still so full of the Finkel series though. It may be a long time before I see these around my area.

Don't need the rest, but I'm loving the Flair and JJ. Especially pleased with Flair's glasses. Still wish they had used this opportunity to give us a new Barry Windham. A Basic with an improved head would have made this so much better IMO. I'd have liked that over the Booker T and/or Luger. Would've been nice if the figures were Ric Flair (as is), Barry Windham (new head sculpt), Arn and Tully (with new attire), basically, a 4 horsemen set. But I guess they didn't want to go that route since the Horsemen HOF set didn't seem to sell well - sat longer on the shelves in my area than the other HOF sets (Heenan family and WCW Nitro notables).

This set really could have been so much better with the classic long hair, clean shaven Barry Windham head, the ponytail Luger sculpt and a repainted Surfer Sting. Flair is one of the best Basics they've done and it's too bad the others in this wave aren't as useful and necessary besides the JJ parts.

I watched WCW intermittently during the latter Nitro days. That Booker is from his TV title runs and not his 5x, 5x, 5x, 5x, 5x WCW championship runs, correct? Like if you were to put a Big Gold Belt on him it wouldn’t be accurate?

Like if you were to put a Big Gold Belt on him it wouldn’t be accurate? Correct he was wearing his short-tights WWE attire by the time he won his first WCW Title in 2000. This attire is ‘97-98. I’ll probably only grab Booker for the head to throw on my custom 2000 Booker T.

im definitely getting the set for Dillon, but i only really want Flair & Luger
Sting is meh to me, and Booker in HH gear is pointless without Stevie

The only thing I was looking forward to was Mattel resizing that Sting head. Looks like they haven’t bothered. Luger could of been a opportunity to give us the ponytail head. I’m also hoping Dillion’s head isn’t as huge as the proto. Looking forward to making JJ

Booker in HH gear is pointless without Stevie It’s attire he wore as a singles competitor

Definitely buying the complete set as a WCW fan - but it would have been nice if Luger's head was the one from the TNF Bash at the Beach 3-pack (w/ ponytail) without the face paint.

I always got the notion that that happened because they produced a lot more of that first set. I only found the Heenan set in-store a couple of times (and it was discounted the first time, so I lucked out) and the Nitro notables maybe 3 times (bought it at a 50% markdown, too) There are 4 Targets in my area, and each had over 6 Horsemen sets. They sold out quickly at first, but they got restocked a few times, which the later 2 sets never seemed to. Now that I think about it, the distribution for the HOF elites seemed to follow the same pattern, except it was series 2 that was overproduced (hence the overabundance of Titos) I guess they didn't expect series 1 to be as big a hit as it was. Then again, sometimes Mattel's expectations of what will sell huge numbers are baffling. Remember how they kept shipping Junkyard Dogs in later revision cases?

I think I prefer the Flair suit for JJ. That's a great way to get a JJ only buying half the set. Good eye!

The Ric Flair is the standout to me of this set, a must have.

That could be, I just remember seeing the Horsemen set for a long time - even after I saw the last Heenan Family set.

Who is designing these sting figures? The huge head again? The neck situation? Come on

Its so great to finally having the chance tonown a jj dillon figure ! I was hoping for an ole anderson in this set or paul roma to complete the four horsemen... Lex luger is from his horsemen days ? Another barry windham would have been to cool to get too.
