It saddens me to hear how niche Wendi Richter is considered. My favorite era is 84-86, shame some of those characters seem so far out of reach. I don't care for DX and the like. Same here.

I really can’t take him seriously when he says someone is too niche when they put out JJ Dillon, Shark, Pat Patterson , Red Rooster, etc. if they can make figures of those guys they can make figures of anyone.

Alundra Blayze is as “niche” as Wendi Richter. Berzerker and Warlord are as “niche” as the Supreme Fighting Machine.

These are the kinds of questions that make for a great interview. Insightful and interesting to read. From the sounds of it, if they do Anvil, he's probably going to come along with another '97 Bret in the same series. Though I'm always crossing my fingers for '96 Survivor Series with the that cool jacket, I know a lot of people missed DM5 Bret, so if they re-release that one with a different head or do a different pink/black attire, it'd make sense. Whatever it takes to get that Anvil! It eluded us in BCA, it eluded us in Classic Superstars, we can't miss another chance! NOD Henry and Kama is a must. I wish he'd do Nation Kama first, but he seems fixated on early days red singlet Kama. I get it, but I'd rather get Nation done as a unit first. Anyway, good stuff! Excited to learn more about the new line in November. I thought that the Jakks midcarders 3 Pack Neidhart was supposed to be a Hart Foundation stable attire?

Neither would be hot sellers, but I'll be really dumbfounded if they put out a Kama the supreme fighting machine figure (that I've never seen anyone ever ask for) instead of finishing out the Nation that I commonly see people request.

It was close (and is the one I have on display, actually) but he had the anvil logo on his singlet, not the winged heart design. I believe it's his '94 look when he was tagging with Owen.

Yeah I remember getting that set long ago with singles Jannetty and Tito. Looked like Hart Foundation Anvil to me. As for the chase concept, I never was big on them in any line because of scalpers. If you live in an area where there exist a lot of other collectors, good luck even catching a whiff of a chase. Thankfully the Curt Hawkins looks good enough where I don't need the chase, but I want that Gold Standard Sheldon Benjamin and I can already feel my wallet begging for mercy. I agree with the consensus on Richter, if we can get Wrestlecrap characters like Shark or Issac Yankem, never mind in the main line like Warlord or Tugboat, we can get Wendi. She and Sasha were my sole reasons for getting that three pack.

Yeah "Stuart?" because he was moaning about US Exclusives. Lol. I sent a list of 20 questions to RingsideC2 a few weeks ago and a RSC conducted interview should be happening soon. I meant you were 'frustrated' that's a better word to use. But yeah glad you've submitted question man.👍

Alundra Blayze is as “niche” as Wendi Richter. Berzerker and Warlord are as “niche” as the Supreme Fighting Machine. No Madusa is not as niche as Wendi. 1. She was around 10 years later 2. She was on TV & PPV much more consistently 3. She went to Nitro and dumped the belt in the trash

Pretty good interview. Pretty pretty pretty good. Bummer about Wendi. The chase figures doesn't bother me, unless they do legends.

WWE could be tapping into the same market that made GLOW on Netflix popular with that Wendi Richter figure. I don't think Wendi is as niche among wrestling fans who are hardcore enough to collect legends figures as they think she is.
Granted, he warmed harder than he should have because of such a wide release, but Magnum TA is another name whose reputation among modern fans is equally just as much of a "what if" story from the same era.
