Soooo since there’s rumors popping up that Rock could be coming back for a match, just wanted to make a poll covering his last run. I personally thought his match with Punk at RR 2013 was his strongest by far.

Rock vs. Cena at Wrestlemania 28. The hype for that match brought so much electricity from the fans.

I can't honestly pick a favourite, the once in a lifetime thing was okay, the second in a lifetime match was bad juat cause wed seen it already and it kinda felt less special, vs Punk was an obvious outcome both times and soured the idea of the match. The tag match was a throw away.
I guess Rock vs Cena I but as the least worst. Rather than the best match out of the set.

Having only seen his WM matches with Cena, can't really say which was his best. I know I have zero desire to watch either match with Punk (especially RR 2013). The tag match from Survivor Series I may get eventually in a set, but no real importance in WWE history. "Twice in a Lifetime" was straight booty. The WM 28 match at least had the energy from the crowd that gave it a special feeling though it wasn't a full mat classic.

Absolutely nothing. He most certainly should NOT have ever been given the WWE Championship.
Now putting my hatred aside, I guess when he beat Cena at 28. The 2nd round between them was not as good a match at all, and because they spent a whole year building 28 as a "Once In A Lifetime, Never Again" kinda deal, then they did it again, it did not have the allure as the first one did.

If you weren’t feeling it when Rock and Cena were standing across the ring from each other at WM28 after the year long build up.... I can’t call you a wrestling fan.

Not to mention the result of the second match was blatantly obvious: that Cena would get his win back from the previous year with bigger stakes (the WWE Championship) on the line. Add to that the report Cena was supposed to turn heel in 2012, which was the sole basis for the "year of sorrow" John was booked to have, that never occurred. Cena being a heel could have easily livened up the 2013 match. Instead we got a finisher-spammed rest fest.

I personally don't care about the hype of a match, if the match sucks, it sucks. I feel the Rock/Cena match currently winning the poll was extremely boring and it was way more about the crowd reactions than having a quality match. The best match hands down was the match vs. CM Punk at Royal Rumble 2013, but more for what kind of match Punk made it.

Where's Rock vs Erick Rowan? Look at the title of this thread. That will answer your question.

Rock/Cena Round 1 was really good, and I never had issue for the Twice in a Lifetime match.

Rock/Cena 1 hands down. Punk was washed up by the time he got in the ring with The Great One. Should have been shining his boots instead.

Wrestlemania 28, The Rock vs John Cena, first time ever, in his hometown of Miami, for sure.

Punk vs. The Rock had more hype. I was looking forward to that match than Cena vs. The Rock.

WM28. The electricity (no pun intended) and animosity between Cena & Rock for a whole year really made the WM28 match feel special. I feel it will be one of those things that people will look back on and regret complaining about the year long build.

The Rumble with punk.
Cena/Rock 1 was better overall but Punk/Rock 1 was the better match. It was booked like a main event straight out of the attitude era and I’ve always loved that about this match.

Rock Cena 1 was the biggest money match in the WWE's history and was executed very well with the year long build. One of the few things I have feel WWE really nailed in the period.
