Damn. Very sad. His WWE career aside, he was always a treat to watch on Total Divas with Nattie.

Really sad news! He and Bret were one my favorite tag teams when I was younger.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
RIP Anvil

The Hart Foundation stable he was a part of in '97 is my favorite ever. I just recently finished watching their run again and it's bittersweet. There's really nothing else like it in the history of WWE. It's hard to put into words just how special it was. When it's done, as much fun as you know you're going to have watching guys like Austin and DX take off in popularity, you can't help but want to see more of heel Bret and his family rule the WWF. Without Jim in the mix, I don't think they would have been complete. His contributions to the careers of the Hart family members cannot be overstated. Good point as late 1997-early 1998 started a huge boom of popularity and resurgence for WWF but I think the 1997 Hart Foundation period was so special. You had a real life, special, family bond of five guys and their related family members. I watch the ending of the Stampede In Your House and just think of it like a swan song for a television shows ending. If wrestling was a series that had to end, I see that ending of the end of the series from the 1985-1997 time period.

If you have a beard/goatee give it a tug today in Anvil's honor
Jim the Anvil had the coolest beard in wrestling history and Ive been trying to grow one just like his almost my entire adult life. RIP

I have a friend who is friends with Brian Blair and Harry Smith contacted him and informed Brian that Neidhart had a seizure and fell and hit his head and bled to death. If true, so very sad. That makes it worse, because he could have been saved. If you have a beard/goatee give it a tug today in Anvil's honor
And a maniacal laugh - don't forget the laugh.

They did a great job with that video. And the one little clip with Nattie is so nice, but so sad at the same time, because you realize what she's going through right now, losing her dad.

RIP Anvil. Loved the team and loved the faction. SummerSlam 90 vs Demolition 2/3 falls was my favorite match as a kid.

The Anvil in the forge Abused to provide Endured heat and hammers and took in all in stride.
He brought honor to the turnbuckle brotherhood and furthered the legacy of his dynasty. He was one of the good ones, and may we never forget that a wrestler can keep his honor. May we look to Neidhart as an example of a man who kept his honor throughout his life. A faithful husband and father. May his family find comfort in this dark time and the days ahead.
