I got to meet Anvil at WrestleCon earlier this year and got this figure signed. A friend of mine booked him for WrestleCon in Dallas in 2016, didn't necessarily have the best "business" experience with him, but he loved meeting the fans that came to my friend's booth there and the fans loved meeting him.

RIP. Can't believe 4/5 of the '97 Hart Foundation aren't alive anymore.

One of my first attempts at a fixup. Happy with the results but I’ve been meaning to retry now that I’m a little better at applying decals. Was hoping Mattel would end up making a 97 Hart Foundation Anvil but apparently he’s too “niche” without Bret. I always did like Neidhart even though he ended up being the Marty Jannetty of the tag team.

Sad to hear, too many greats from the era that I grew up watching are now gone. The Hart Foundation was always one of my favorite tag teams, I also liked the New Foundation that the Anvil formed with Owen - would have liked to see that team have more time together, I think they could have been great, too.

I see no one’s attacked you for talking about figures when someone dies. Lucky you :/

I couldn’t imagine being the last member of a family or, in Bret Hart’s situation, the last of that group. Looking at a photo and knowing you’re the last one left would be surreal.

I want a '97 HF Neidhart to honor him so much. Loving that custom, Hayabusa.
I spent a good hour yesterday looking up Anvil stuff out of curiosity after reading the Bill interview and talking about Jim with you guys. Watched his match with The Patriot on Shotgun, a King's Court segment, and a tag match with he and Owen. I go bed thinking about how crazy it was that Jim and Bret were the last ones left of the '97 Hart Foundation. I wake up, and he's gone.
Wrestling is hard to be a fan of sometimes for numerous reasons, but the hardest part of being a fan is losing so many of these guys and gals that we watched and grew up with.

It's hard to believe that Bret Hart is the only remaining living member of the attitude era Hart Foundation now. My condolences to the Neidhart family.

Not just that, he's the last one standing of his circle of locker room friends: Dino, Bad News and Davey are also gone :/ Dynamite is alive but he's dead to everyone else
