Canadian prices are high. I can recommend any store in Toronto that is part of a mall. Always well stocked. Also the Richmond Hill store is a gold mine

I'm in Buffalo and I did stop by a Canadian TRU to pick up the Shark when I was up in Canada one day. The selection was nice but almost immediately I had sticker shock because it's way more expensive up there. So no I won't be going up there regularly and I wouldn't recommend anyone do so unless there's a random exclusive like the Shark again. That day I wanted to buy a Star Wars figure or two and it would have been like $200 for four figures or something crazy ... taxes were also shockingly high. Even with exchange rates in general not worth it on our end.

Are Canadian prices much cheaper? Canadian prices are higher but with the US exchange rate it comes out about as much as US retail prices. Sometimes cheaper depending on the changing exchange rate.

I plan to take a trip to Canada, specifically just to go to TRU one of these days.

Are Canadian prices much cheaper? Canada has high taxes and everything is generally $5 more than it is here

I was thinking about this since I'll be in Quebec next week. I looked up the price of fan central figures which retail for $29.99 CAD. Using today's exchange rate that would be $22.82 USD. Then there would be Quebec's 14.975% sales tax bring the total to roughly $35 CAD or $26.60 USD.
