I only saw the first half of raw because I unfortunately had to put down my cat tonight. Glad to see Dean back, sounds like a good raw from what I’ve heard. Im sorry for your loss

That's a heel look if I've ever seen one. Ciampa 2.0; Raw edition. Every roster needs one.

Marked like a little beeeeee for Dean. My wife was shouting at the top of her lungs and jumping around the seats of the truck [we had just gotten back from the gym and were watching the rest on PS Vue on my phone.]
Great to see him back. I thought the reveal would be at SummerSlam but having it last night, really kinda made the show.

Anyone think Heyman’s next guy could be Ambrose?
Sure Heyman trashed Ambrose in promos when he was feuding with Brock, but we know Roman isn’t turning heel. And Seth is pretty over as a face right now. Dean would make perfect sense as he fits that old “ECW” mold Heyman was known for.
They could spin a storyline that Heyman brought out the “real” Dean Ambrose and Ambrose can go off as this unpredictable heel.
Yes Dean is a great promo guy, but so was Punk. Have Heyman do the talking and just let Dean be a slimy heel who doesn’t talk but just attacks people at random.

Saw Ambrose's return on YouTube. I stopped watching altogether early this year, but Dean has always been my favorite and I'll definitely be monitoring what they do with him. He definitely put on a ton of muscle and bulked up, looks to be in great shape. Having nine months off was probably the best thing that could've happened to him, to be honest. He was definitely looking burned out for a while, similar to Punk back in 2013. I'm sure not having any real time off for the past five years caught up to him after a while. I'm not sure how I feel about the buzz cut yet, I really digged his longer hair look.
I'm one of the few people who has remained adamant that there's so much untapped potential with Ambrose as a babyface. The guy is such a throwback, and the fans still love him. That pop last night was one of the biggest ones I've heard in a really long time. I can't think of another guy, besides maybe Bryan, who could get that kind of pop these days. I wish they would commit to a serious face run for Ambrose like they should have done back when he first won the title, but it's impossible for anyone to reach their full potential as a babyface as long as they're on RAW with Roman there. And I do worry that even if they turned him heel, he'd just be a generic chicken sh*t one who backs down from fights and loses to Roman eventually like everyone else on RAW seems destined to. A heel run on SD would have a lot more potential, IMO.

Wow,the Lunatic Fringe looks like he's put on about 20lbs in muskles. I like the new look,he doesn't remind me of Rick Grimes' brother who lives in a dumpster anymore.

I'd like it if Dean is unpredictable and erratic, but Heyman is the one that has to focus his anger in the right direction.

I like this, I'd like to see it taken to the extreme where Dean is getting into all kinda troubles getting himself put in multiman matches, ladder matches, and Paul is trying to calm him and stop him being so edgy, but Dean always comes out on top without cheating, Heyman turns on Dean after a while saying he's too unpredictable, and stupid. THEN he aligns with Reigns.

Texted my brother last night:
"Ambrose looks like WWE Champ material"
his response:
"Hell yeah"
Pumped to see him back!

It's sort of sad how meaningless Reigns pinning Lesnar is going to be.

Underwhelming ass return. Would have been better if his music just hit randomly

I don't think Ambrose's hair is any indication of a heel turn or not...I think he's just finally accepted he's losing his hair and realized he looked kinda ridiculous with that sloppy comb-forward he had been doing.
Either way, he looks better regardless of if he stays face or turns heel.

I’m hoping he keeps the extra muscle mass and loses the “fringe” part of his nickname. Make him into a guy who simply wants to fight and can’t be controlled.
Like I posted earlier team him with Heyman. Fans love Dean on the mic. So taking the mic away from him would generate a lot of heel heat by making Paul his spokesman. Heyman can claim that while Roman, Seth, and the WWE held him back, he’s unleashed the “real” Dean Ambrose.
Have him randomly attack different members of the roster each week. This adds to his unpredictability. No rhym or reason. Have him come out and attack Booby Roode and Rawley during a match of theirs. Interfere in tag matches and take all four guys out. Attack people backstage. Make a storyline of the whole roster, faces and heels, wondering if they’d be targeted next. Heck, have him appear on both shows even though he’s a Raw guy.
Make him a serious threat. Give him a brutal in-ring style that is less flash and more brute force and dirty. Have him win clean, even against top faces.
This would make a great top heel...but I’d put money down that the WWE will keep him “wacky” Dean Ambrose despite this shot of momentum he just received.

I want Ambrose to be the heel other heels are afraid of. The heel that heels don't trust. I want him to be a loner (except maybe Heyman) out of necessity because everyone is afraid to be around him.

I really thought Ziggler and McIntyre delivered a hell of a promo last night. Like homerun stuff. They've got some weird, special, chemistry together.
Ronda was awesome.
Ambrose being back is great. We're all ready for the heel turn. He looks awesome. This is about to be special between Ambrose and Rollins. It's really this generations true great feud. Jericho/HBK, Cena/Punk, and Ambrose/Rollins all definitely stand out for me over the last 10 years.
